今朝の上部は、新しい降雪は約20cmでした。

「思ったより降らなかったね～」なんて声も聞きましたが、楽しい1日となったのではないでしょうか？ツリーライディング会員さんのビブも60枚以上出ました。多かった。「ツリー…ツリーなんとかの服ください！」と興奮気味にチケットカウンターへいらっしゃる方もいましたよ（笑）

We had about 20 cm of fresh snow at the top of the mountain this morning.

"It didn't snow as much as we expected." said someone, but I guess our guests had a blast experiencing tons of powder at Hakuba 47 today.  More than 60 designated bibs for Tree Riding Zone were picked up.  Some people were really excited about experience the Tree Riding Zone covered in tons of powder.

そして今日はFOSSILさんとMOSSさんの試乗会がありました！

試乗会が目的で見えたお客様も多く、賑やかな土曜日でした。

場所はゴンドラ山頂駅の降り場からすぐ。なので試乗会を知らなかった人も「あ！試乗会やってるの？」と吸い込まれるように受付していました。良い場所ですね。

We had a test-ride event presented by FOSSIL and MOSS today.  The venue was bustling with many guests!

14：30からは毎週恒例【現金5,000円争奪！大くじ引き大会】です。

毎週土曜日にやっています。毎週来てください！

今週のラッキーウーマンさんは「みんなで撮った方が映えるでしょう？」ということで、スタッフと一緒に撮らせてもらいました。そんな…写真のことも考えてくださるなんて…お優しいウーマンでした。

「すみませんねぇ喋りが上手くて！」なんて笑いを誘うお兄さんが今週も華麗な話術を披露していました。楽しいイベントの時間です。来週も是非来てください。ただイベント自体は一瞬で終わってしまうので5分前集合で('ω')

Another event, "Draw to win 5,000 yen," was held at the bottom this afternoon.

One of the staff is good at drawing laughter from the crowd, and he was making our guests laugh with his talk as usual.  Please come to take part in the event and listen to his talk on Saturday!  The event is too popular to be over very quickly, so you had better be at the venue 5 minutes before the event starts.

Another staff shared a beautiful photo with me.  This photo was taken near Line-E chairlift station.  You'll see a whole new world if you get to the top of the mountain.  I wonder when the next time such a beautiful scenery could be seen.  Tomorrow, we might have 5~12 cm of fresh snow.  Have a great weekend, everyone!!

降ったぁ～！

待ちに待っていたものがやっとキマシター！！

欲を言えば昨日の夜遅くから始まってくれれば尚良しって感じだったのですが、朝方から降り始めた雪は時間が経つにつれて強さを増し、あれよあれよとコースの新雪はバフバフに！！！！！　写真は14:00くらいの写真ですが、何度LineCに乗ってもいつまでも続くパウダー、と言った感じでした！！　ごちなりました～！！！

If we're allowed to hope for more, we wanted the snow to start falling last night.

I took these photos at around 2:00 pm.  Every time I was on Line-C chairlift, I could enjoy the powder!!

リフトに乗っていても前はかすんでしまうほどの降り！！！

山頂駅に着くころには自分のウエアや座席は真っ白に積もっちゃうほど！！！

I could barely see things and people right in front of me.  So much snowfall!!

By the time I got to the summit, I was all covered with snow!!

そしてコースもそうなのに、ツリーエリアとなればご覧の通り、そこら中が面ツル！！

これ、午後です。午後。どこでも頂き放題ですね～。

予報では強さはどのようになるか分かりませんが、今夜しっかり降る予定。

そうなれば明日の朝一…。ふふふぅ。

Not only slopes, but also tree areas are filled with fluffy powder snow! 

It's going to snow heavily tonight, so we are expecting tons of powder tomorrow morning!

R7の緩斜面も営業中圧雪が入れれないのでご覧の様な状態に。

今回の降雪までに少々期間があったので久しぶりの間隔ですね！！

明日の朝イチはパウダー祭りで行きましょう～！！

そしてこのタイミングで明日は『Fossil』と『Moss』のスノーボード試乗会が開催！

パウダー用のスノーボードも含め、恰好の試乗日和になるのではないでしょうか！！

晴れてくるって言ったじゃん！！

　本日のブログ当番は、毎朝4時に目が覚めて困っているN婆です。

今朝のテレビの天気予報で、曇りのち晴れって言ってたから、ゲレンデに出るのを楽しみに出勤してきたのに、いつまでたってもお日様は顔を出さず、どよ～んとして寒い。

あんまり気が乗らないなあと思いながらもゲレンデに出てみると、雲の向こうにうっすら太陽が。それに照らされ雪を纏った木々がキラキラと輝いておりました。

ちょっと気分が乗ってきたので、今日は頑張って山頂のLineEまで行くことに。

The weather forecast this morning said it would clear up this afternoon, so I was excited about leaving for the slopes, but the sun did not come out.  Because of the weather or because I am wide awake at 4:00 am every morning, I felt a bit dull.  The rays of light could be seen in the distance, and the hoarfrost was shining on the trees.  Anyway, I stirred myself and decided to go up to the top of the mountain.

ガスってて視界はあまりよくなかったけれど、空のグレーと雪の白が相まって水墨画のような世界。

何とも幻想的。雪はちょっと硬めですが締まってて滑りやすい。

おまけに空いてて滑りやすい。ちょっくらガチで楽しんで滑っていたN婆でありました。

Visibility was low, but the contrast between the gray sky and the white snow looked like an ink brush painting.  Breathtaking!  The snow on the slopes was firm and easy to ski/snowboard.  Moreover, it was not crowded, so I really enjoyed skiing!!

緩斜面では、スノーボードスクールの講習中。まずは立つところから。インストラクターにボードを抑えてもらいながら、慎重に立ち上がりますが、なかなか苦戦中。

なんでも最初は大変ですよね。でもどんどん滑れるようになってくると、楽しいですよ～～今シーズンはまだまだ長い。頑張って練習して雪の世界を楽しんでね。

I saw some people practicing snowboarding.  Let's begin with standing on a board!  Things are not easy at the beginning, but you'll know the fun of them once you get used to.  This winter season has just begun, so keep practicing and enjoy the world of snow!!

LineA乗り場では、ちっちゃいトトロがお出迎え。なかなかの出来栄えでしょ。

スキー場はやっぱり楽しくなくっちゃね。見た目にも楽しませてくれるスタッフがよんななには揃ってます。これからも皆様を明るく楽しくお迎えできるよう頑張りま～す。

明日は雪予報。またまた、さらっさらのパウダースノーが楽しめそうですよ！！

早く寝て明日に備えよう！！

A tiny Totoro welcomed me when I got to Line-A chairlift station.  Well done!

Ski resorts have got to be filled with entertainment!  All Hakuba 47 staff know how to entertain our guests!!  We will welcome you with lots of smiles!!

「ずく」だしていきましょう！

今日、2月2日放送予定のSBC信越放送「ずくだせテレビ」の撮影がありました。

レポーターは、なんとあの「ザ・たっち」！

全国区の芸人さんだぁ～！とまじまじと見入ってしまいました。

それより何より、「ずく」ってどういう意味なの？

長野県の方言らしいけど元関西人の私には未だにいまいちピンときません。

Today, there was a filming for SBC Shinetsu Broadcasting's "Zukudase TV" scheduled to air on February 2nd.  "The Touch," a nationally known comedian visited Hakuba 47 as reporters.  What does "Zuku" mean, anyway?  I heard it's one of the dialects spoken in Nagano, but to me as a person who's not originally from Nagano, the word sounds a bit odd.

ザ・たっちさんは朝から五竜を滑り、いいもりを滑り、食事もとらずに午後2時過ぎに47に到着！

なかなかブラックなスケジュール！

取材でHakuba47自慢のルイスのピザを食べて頂けましたが、いつものピザの2割り増し！くらい美味しかったのではないでしょうか？

かなりおもしろおかしく撮影されたので、放送日が楽しみです。

長野県の皆さんは2月2日のリフト券は午前券を買って、午後はテレビに噛り付いて下さい。

The reporters arrived at 47 at around 2:00 pm without having lunch.  Their schedule was very tight - visiting Goryu, Iimori, and then 47.  Finally, they had pizzas we proudly offer.  As they were hungry, the pizzas must've tasted twice as delicious.  They featured us in a pretty interesting way, so look forward to the show to be on air!  If you are a resident of Nagano, please ski/snowboard at 47 in the morning of February 2nd and go home watch "Zukudase TV" in the afternoon!  The Touch-san, thank you so much for visiting us and letting us take a snapshot after filming!

まったくもって話は変わりますが、コロナ感染が増えている中、少しでも安心してお越しいただけるよう、Hakuba47も至る所を抗菌・抗ウイルスコーティング施工いたしました。

その名も『Dr.HardoLass』（ドクターハドラス）！！！！

名前だけで効きそうな気がします。

何をどこまでしてもOK！ではないのかもしれませんが、やれる事は何でもやってみましょう！

少しでも安心できるように。

On a different note, with the number of new cases of COVID-19 is increasing every day, Hakuba 47 has been coated with an antibacterial and antiviral coating to make out guests feel as safe as possible.  The name of the coating is "Dr.HardoLass!"  Sounds really effective and as if it worked at once, doesn't it?  No one knows what is effective, but we will do everything we can to make everyone feel safe.

 

お昼下がり

昨日、今日と2日続けて快晴の朝を迎えました。

今日は午後に入ると薄い雲が広がり、白い空に変わりましたが、スキー場にはお昼下がりの日差しが差し込み何ともまったりな感じ。

It was sunny two days in a row.  It turned cloudy in the afternoon, but rays of light were shining through the clouds.  Looked really calm and peaceful.

3日前までの雨で緩んだ雪がこの2日間の冷え込みで一気にアイスモードになっていましたが、LineEより上部のR8は粉雪の状態。エッジがしっかりとかみつく感じですが、R2から下の各コースは緩んだ湿雪ががっちり固まりかなり硬いコンディションに。

硬いバーンがお好みの方にはとってもgoodなバーンです！

私の様なメンテナンスしていない板にはかなり手ごわいコンディションとなっています。

Slopes were icy since the rain we'd had 3 days ago melted the snow, and the snow was again frozen overnight because of the cold temperature.  Whereas the snow on Route 8 on top of the mountain was powder and easy to grip, the snow on Route 2 and below was densely packed down, resulting in a glass-like sheen on the surface that made it difficult to grip.  That's a very good condition for those who like hard, icy slopes, but not for those like me whose equipment is not well-maintained.

先日リニューアルした『47PARKS』も比較的硬めなコンディションでした。

ランディングすると、パーンと言った音が出たりすることもありましたが、さすが皆さん上手なので転倒することもないですねー。

昼下がりのパークもまったり感いっぱいな感じでした。

The condition of "47 PARKS" just opened the other day was also relatively hard.  Landing on the hard slopes, we heard "Pow!"  All the skiers/snowboarders there were so skillful that no one slipped or fell.

Hakuba47のパトロール。MAMMUTの今シーズンのウエアをまとった隊員の中にご覧の様なスノーボードで業務を行うスタッフが非常勤を合わせて4名います。

一見ご覧の様な大きな荷物を持つと不安定にならないのかなーなんて思っちゃうのですが、そこはさすがパトロール隊員。余裕な感じでサムズアップ！

Here's a photo of Hakuba 47 ski patrol in a MAMMUT uniform.  We have four patrol members who are on duty on their snowboards this season.  Doesn't it unstable to carry such a big, heavy thing on a snowboard??  That's a patroller!!  Thumbs up without losing his smile!  Thank you for ensuring the safety of our guests!!

47で楽しむグルメと観光

今日の白馬は快晴！景色も良いし、暖かいし、スキー／スノボ日和なのでしょうね。

スキー場は、滑らないと楽しくない…なんてことは全くないんですよ。私は滑らない

(滑れない)のですが、グルメと観光で十分楽しい時間を過ごすことができました♪♪

Hakuba47のベースエリアにあるレストラン「アリス」で、スタッフさんお勧めの

「信州牛カレー」をいただいてきました。こちらのカレー、なんとスタッフさん達が

早朝から仕込んで手作りしているんです！軟らかい信州牛がゴロゴロ入っていて、

ルーはサラサラしているのにコクがあって、おいしかったです！そして、その隣に

あるのは、シーズン前に漬け込んだ47自家製野沢菜（詳しくは2020年12月2日付の

ブログをご覧ください）。ピリッと辛くて、お野菜独特の苦みが少しあって、

こちらもおいしかったです。手作りって、心が温まりますね。

It was such a beautiful day in Hakuba today!  It must've been a good day for skiing/snowboarding.  Does anyone say there's nothing much to do if you don't ski/snowboard here?  That's not true.  I myself don't ski (I should say I can't), but I had a great time eating and sightseeing here at Hakuba 47.  My colleagues recommended me to eat at the restaurant "Alice" as they have a variety of food, and I had their specialty, Beef Curry.  They make the curry from scratch!  I also ordered 47 homemade Nozawana pickles.  Both the curry and the pickles tasted so good!!

ラーメンとドリンク以外のお食事は、お持ち帰りできます。是非、ご家庭でもどうぞ。

They do take-out (take-away) except for Ramen and drinks.

How about getting their food to go and enjoy them at home?

お食事以外にも、アリス店内でこんな素敵な景色をお楽しみいただけます。

絶景は見ていて飽きないですね。私はこの景色を一日中、見ていられます。

皆さんにもお楽しみいただけたらな～。

Besides your meal, you can enjoy a great view like the one in the photo above if you eat in.  I never get bored looking at magnificent views.  I can enjoy them all day.

この週末、白馬に雨マークがついていることは。

ブログ担当日と自分のお休みの天気予報チェックが日課ですもの。

「修行モードじゃ！」とゲレンデに飛び出してみると、、

It was raining at the bottom of the mountains.

Yes, I knew it would rain because it's my routine to check my work schedule and the weather.  I headed to the slopes in the rain, anyway.  "Here we go!"

リニューアルして最初の週末

練習したり、挑戦したり、

楽しんでいるお客さまの姿を見ることができて

嬉しい気持ちになりました～(^^)/

行ってみないとわからない！それも楽しみの一つですね。

おかげで今日は修行モード改め、

景色と空気を楽しむピクニックモードで滑ってくることができました。

There were people practicing, trying...  I was happy to see our guests enjoying the 47 PARKS!  You will never know how it is like to ski/snowboard there till you actually go there, so please visit 47 PARKS and have fun!

I had thought skiing in the rain would not be fun, but eventually, I had a good time skiing and enjoying the landscape as well as some fresh air.

実はこちら、雪崩の危険性が高く昨日までクローズされていたコース。

雪が削られていますね。

今シーズンはドカドカ雪が降ったと思えば、

すぐ後に寒気が緩んで雨が続いたりと変わりやすい空模様。

安全に安心してスノースポーツを楽しんでいただけるように、

当日の天気や降雪量だけではなく、積雪状態を観察しコース管理がされているんですね～

ぜひ皆さまも、準備運動をして、感染予防対策をして、

I took the last photo when I was skiing down Route 7.  This course had been closed until yesterday due to the risk of avalanche, and now the snow was released.  The weather this season has been unpredictable, so we check the weather, snow depth, snow condition, and so forth every day to keep the courses safe.

Do a stretching, take prevention measures, and have a nice day at Hakuba 47!

If you forgot or lost your mask, just stop by at the ticketing center.  Masks are sold at the ticketing center, rental shop, and restaurants.
