柔らかいバーンが戻ってきた！！A little POW (English Follows)

昨夜にドカ雪ではありませんでしたが上部で15～20cmのまとまった降雪が久しぶりにありました！

R3はコブが深かったため面ツルにはなりませんでしたがR2は圧雪の上に10cmほど！

今日も硬い下地は少々残りましたが、15:00でも荒れたコンディションでしたが久しぶりの柔らかい感じを楽しめた感じです！
Overnight we didn't get a lot of fresh snowfall, but on top about 20cm accumulated.
Route 3 and Route 2 were pretty deep as these areas are sometimes ungroomed so a few little snow pockets are hidiing around here and there.
Go and find them.

ツリーエリアも、あと一息って感じでした！

ガッツリ楽しむにはちょっと物足りない感じでしたね。しかし11:00のツリーライディングゾーンの登録はたくさんの方がいらっしゃいました。

次のパウダーまでもう少しお預けでしょうか！！
The Tree Riding Zone (TRZ) has been open but maybe it hasn't been the best with no fresh dumps of heavy snowfall.
Next week there is a high possibility that will all change, so get you TRZ pass as soon as possible. Register at the Snowboard and Ski School Centre at either 9:00am or 11:00am.

週末ともあり子供たちの姿もちらほらと！

急斜面も何のその！　大人顔負けで上手に滑っていますね。
Over the weekend many families visit. This little one is skating so well even better than the adults! Well done and keep it going.

スノーボードスクールのビギナーレッスンでしょうか！

初めてスノーボードをする方対象のレッスンですが、初めてでもゴンドラの山頂駅まで行っちゃいます！！　初心者・初級者は緩斜面から…　という事でスキー場の麓でレッスン！っていうイメージもあるかと思いますが、47はスキー場中間に緩斜面があるのでゴンドラ山頂駅まで行ってのレッスンが最適！　

山頂駅まで行けば景色もいいし、雪も更にいいし、気分も上がりますね！！

初めての方は是非レッスンを受けて一気に上手になってしまいましょう～！！
Have you made a reservation to learn how to snowboard yet? 
It's well worth it to have an instructor to teach you the tips of snowboading and learning some technical moverments to handle the terrain.
Also, you might make some friends in the group lesson, so why not give it a go.

ダイアモンドツリー！Diamond in the sun (English Follows)

昨日に続いて青空広がる気持ちの良い朝でした！

昨日は上部の木々は雪が乗って白く雪化粧していたのですが、光が当たるとキラキラと光っていて、今日も見れるかなーと上部へ上ると、白の雪化粧は無くなっていたものの、木々に張り付いた氷に光が当たり、ダイヤモンドの様に光り輝いていて目を奪われてしまいました😍

ダイヤモンドツリー！と勝手に名付けてしまいましたが、なかなか見れない光景に思わず枝の近くまで行きましたがとにかくキラキラ✨だらけでとても幻想的でした！！ It was a beautiful morning with blue skies, just like yesterday! The trees on the top of the mountain were covered with white snow, but when the light hit them, they glistened. I went up to the top to see if I could see them again but, the snow had disappeared. The light hit the ice on the trees and it shone like a diamond, catching my eyes!

コースはとにかく硬い！！

のですが、その上に粉雪も乗って気持ちよく滑れました！！

下地が硬いのでエッジのメンテナンスは必要ですよ～。

でも今夜から雪予報も出ているので明日は大丈夫かな？！
Hard packed on come courses until mid-morning when it soften up again.

昨日に続きゴンドラの線下でお散歩中のカモシカちゃん。

ほぼ同じところで日向ぼっこ（？！）していました。

皆さんが滑っているのを見守っているみたいでしたね。

47のゴンドラ下の急斜面辺りをよくお散歩していますよ。是非探してみてください！

What kind of animal is this? Who has seen it roaming the snowlands.
The Japanese serow..KAMOSHIKA in Japanese is a protected species.
Resembling a deer or even a cow depending on which way you are looking at it.
They live in the mountains and are very mysterious and keep to themselves.
Please don't scare them or bother them as they are harmful. I think they are the gods of the mountains.

アキアボートを引くスノーボーダー！

今日は中部スノーボード協会の講習が行われていました！

最近ちらほらと見かけるスノーボードのパトロールさん。

スノーボードでもしっかりとパトロール業務が出来ますよ！！　未来のスノーボードパトロールさん、更新のパトロールさんの講習は皆さん真剣そのものでした～！

There was a Chubu Snowboard Association class going on today and not just any class, a snowboard patrollers class.
Many of these students can patrol well on a snowboard!　
They are the future snowboard patrollers and are all very serious about their training.

最高の天気でしたが・・・。It's a beautiful day (English Follows)

今日は気温も高く、快晴に恵まれ最高のコンディション！

ここぞとばかりにゲレンデに出て、快晴の空映える景色をたくさん撮りました。
それを存分に皆様にお伝えしようかと思っておりましたが、もう帰らなきゃいけない時間となってしまいました。
されど、ヨンナナ好きの皆様ならばどんな景色であったか、また、私の言いたいこともわかるはず！！！！

The day was clear and temperatures warmer then usual.
It was so nice to see many customers in the resort, taking photos of the Japanese Alps.

張り切って五竜まで行っちゃいました。

でしたが、やっぱり時間がありません。

Amazing conditions today, the blue sky was big and bright, looking at the heavens.

夕方には夕方の夕陽映える景色も最高でした。

イイ雪降ってますねぇ～ Nice Snow！(English Follows)

週前半に緩んだ雪は気温が下がって硬くなってきてますが、上部はちょっとずつですが雪が降ってきています。

LineC降り場『1450』付近の木々は、キレイな霧氷。

近くまで行ってみると、枝に着いた氷からほうきの様に形どられた雪はとっても神秘的！

皆さんも是非近くで見てください！

As the temperature drops, the snow that loosened in the first half of the week is getting hard now. The trees near Line C drop-off point "1450" are beautiful, they are covered in hoarfrost.When you get close to it, the broom-like snow from the ice on the branches is very mysterious. Please take a closer look!

その近くで15cmほど積もった雪をすくってみると極上の粉雪です❄️❄️！

今週末に向けて冷え込む予報も出ているのでガッツリ粉雪が積もってほしいですね⛄️！
We had about 15cm of accumulated snow on the trees.
Super fine powder！

R6から上部は濃いガスに包まれていました。

視界がかなり悪かったのですが、硬い下地に乗っている雪はとても軽くて量も10cmくらいあるので引っかかりもなく、ふわふわした感じで滑れましたよ。

ただ視界が無くてズバーンと行けなかったのは少々残念でした…😭。

The upper part from R6 was covered in a thick fog. Visibility was quite poor, but the snow on the hard base was very light, about 10cm.

来週の月・火曜日、1/23と1/24は今シーズン初のリメイクとなります。

上級レーンを中心に47PARKSのグランドオープンに向けて進んでいますよー💪！！

という事で、1/23、1/24はR4が終日クローズになりますが、予めご了承ください🙏！！

47PARKS can finally power up here!

Next Monday and Tuesday, 1/23 and 1/24 will be our first park remake of the season. We are progressing toward the grand opening of 47PARKS with a focus on  advanced lanes 💪!

So please be advised that R4 will be closed all day on 1/23 and 1/24 🙏!

下山コースのR1は今日も中々手ごわかったですねー。

比較的柔らかい粉雪が乗っているのですが、うっかりツルっとアイスバーンが粉雪の下から突然顔を出してしまうので突然エッジが持って行かれました！

あまり慣れていない方はR7をご利用頂く方が良いかもしれません💦！！

冷えているうちにスノーメイクを行いますので比較的硬いコンディションです。

硬いコンディションが好きな人は溜まらないかもですね～！！

The downhill course on Route 1 was tough again today. It was relatively soft powder but, our edges were suddenly taken away as the slippery icy slopes appeared from under the powder snow!

If you are not very familiar with this, it might be better to use Route 7 to descend the ski resort💦!

Conditions will be a littel harder from now as we kintend too make more snow.
If you like hard conditions, then you might not be able to resist! Go for it!!

 さぁ！今シーズン初のゲレンデへ行ってまいりました！

と言う事で、さてさて、ゲレンデはどうなっているのか？
いざ、レポート！

Take a day off and see for yourself how are the slopes?

ゲレンデに出た感想は、一言で言うと「硬い！固い！堅い！」

「雪が硬い、ゲレンデが硬い、すべてが硬い、滑っている方の笑顔だけ柔らかい」

という状態でした。

現場サイドに聞いたところ、2日前くらいからこの状態らしいです。

４７に勤めてそれなりの年月が経ちますが、久しぶりに北向き斜面の本領発揮と言ったところでしょうか。

コケると超痛いので気を付けましょう。

そろそろ一発ドカ雪をお待ちしております。
So the verdict was that today was a hard slope, we haven't had any new snowfall for a few days、be careful on the slopes especially when skiing down.

混雑状況は、ちょうどいいタイプです。

混み過ぎているのはもっての外ですが、すき過ぎているのもリゾートとしてはちょっと寂しい所。なので、ここの所ちょうどいいタイプです。

ちなみに、外国の方も沢山いらっしゃっているので、海外情緒も味わえるお得ぷりです！

ちょうどいいタイプのこの機会に、是非お越しください！

Too crowded is not good, but too empty is also a bit sad for the resort. So, we have just the right type of crowds here today.

By the way, there are a lot of foreigners here, so you can enjoy an international atmosphere as well! 

ガス＆雪 In the Fog (English Follows)

上部はガスが時折晴れることもありましたが

終始濃いままで小雪が舞う中ひんやりとした1日でした

※ガス＝霧のこと

その中でもゲレンデではたくさんのお客様が

様々な滑走を楽しんでおられ素敵な光景でした

The upper part of the day was cool with light snow flurries, although the gas cleared occasionally.

In spite of this, there were many guests on the slopes enjoying various types of riding and skiing.

気温が上がらなかったため、午後になってもバーンはとても滑りやすい状態をキープ

ここR-５のコースは初級者コースですが

地形が出ていて変化のあるとてもおもしろいコースです

はじっこもおススメ

ケガのないようにぜひ楽しんでみてください

Route 5 is a good slope for beginners, the terrain changes a little, so it makes it a little more interesting. We recommend this area for those learning.
Please take care with speed and control.

そしてどこを滑っていても外国人のお客様しかいないな~

と思っていたら日本人のお客様を発見

こちらはLAスキースクールさんのレッスン中でした

両クラスともたくさんのお客様でとてもにぎわっていました

あとは、今降っている雪がどれくらい積もってくれるか…

そろそろパウダー滑りたいですね！！

Little Adventure school is one of Hakuba 47 official ski schools.
The motto of the school is to spend time in the nature of the snowy mountains and to master their skills to ski down the snowy mountains.

Hakuba 47 Winter Sports Park is the perfect place for these conditions.

Lessons can be reserved in advanced, camp style (2 days 1 night to 5 days 4 nights).

雪になりました！ Snowing again (English Follows)

今日のお天気は曇りだったり小雨が降ったりでしたが、スキー場上部は午後からは雪へと変わってきました。朝は湿雪で板も良く走りましたが、ボタボタの雪が降り始めたら踏まれていない所は早速ストップ雪になってきていました。

しっかりとしたまとまった雪になってほしいです！！

Today's weather was cloudy and drizzly, but it turned to snow in the afternoon at the top of the ski area. In the morning, the snow was wet and our skis ran well.

We're still hoping for some solid, consistent snow!

ピタッと板が揃ってるなーって、よく見てみたらモノスキーでした！

今回拝見したのは外国からのお客様！

私は一度もトライしたことはありませんが、難しいのかな？！

見ていると楽しそうに見えるので機会があればやってみたいと思います！！
 
Take a closer look, it's a mono ski!  I've never tried it, is it difficult? ! It looks like fun when you look at it, so if you have the chance try it! !

今年はゴンドラ山頂駅でスキーを履かないお客様をよく見かけます。

雪遊びの方もゴンドラは下り線も乗車可能なのでゴンドラ山頂駅まで遊びに来れます！

1月に入り場内は本当にインターナショナル！！　色々な国の言葉が飛び交っていてなんだかとっても賑やかですよ～！
There were a lot of guests playing around and hanging out in front of the Gondola and at the base. Especially the International crowds.

毎月第3日曜日は『スキーこどもの日』！

小学生以下のお子様はリフト券が無料になる日です。未就学児の皆さまは元々リフト券は無料なので実質小学生の皆さまが無料になる日ですね！！

それにプラスで1月～3月の3回はこどもの日にちなんで宝探し大会も開催します！

という事で今日はその宝探し大会の日だったのですが…。

雪が完全に湿雪でお宝が隠せなくなったのと、大きな理由は事務所スタッフ不足により急遽今回は社長とじゃんけん大会になりました！！

次回はモフモフの雪の中で宝探しが出来ますように！！

2月の第3日曜日もちびっ子たちの来場お待ちしております！！

Kids ski for free day is held on the 3rd Sunday of every month in Nagano Prefecture. We also wanted to hold a treasure hunt for kids but the snow was so wet that we couldn't hide anything.
So we did a rock, paper and scissors game and the President of our company was playing too.
