連休の過ごし方は人それぞれである

今日は飛石連休２日目の土曜日

スキー場は久しぶりの賑わいだなぁと感じます。

ゴンドラ待ちの列が多少できましたがそれもたま～にです。

風のない晴れの日、コースに人はまばら。気持ちがいい1日となりました。

As it was Saturday today, Hakuba 47 was crowded with many people.

There was a long queue for the gondola, but it happens only once in a while.

There were fewer people on each slope.

It was a comfortable sunny day with no wind.

毎週土曜日恒例の【現金5,000円争奪！大くじ引き大会】も盛り上がりました！

2：30の前にはベースにいつもより多くのお客様が。多いな～人だかりって久しぶりだな～

来週も開催します。来週も来てください！

The event, "Draw to win 5,000 yen!" held every Saturday was a lot of fun!

A lot of people came to join the event before 2:30 p.m.

It has been a while since we saw a crowd of people.

Please come to take part in the event next Saturday!

（ふと空を見るとパラグライダーさんがいました。ふわふわと気持ちよさそうです。すぐに浮かびました、有名なギャグが…「空まで飛んでけパラグライダー！」）

そして？

明日は2月14日、バレンタインデーですね。

レンタルショップからチョコっと嬉しいお知らせです。

ですから明日はすっかり帽子を忘れてもグローブをうっかり無くしてもゴーグルがぽっくり壊れても大丈夫！ゴンドラ右横のレンタルショップへ行けば買えます！しかも！お気持ちでチョコがもらえます。

”お気持ち”とは一体どんなのでしょう。気になる方は一緒にお買い物いきましょうね。

We looked up at the sky and saw a paraglider.  Looked so comfortable.

It is Valentine's Day tomorrow!  Announcement from the rental shop!

"Shop at our store and get a chocolate for free!"

If you were to forget your knit hat, lose your gloves, or broke your goggles, no worries!  You can still buy them at the rental shop next to the gondola station.  Besides, you can get a chocolate for free!

What sort of chocolate?  Please stop by at the store if you are curious.

今日は平日ですが…

今年は、2月の3連休がない！おまけにコロナ…
飛石連休も今日は平日。あ～お客様少ないんだろうな～。
ルイス忙しくなったら呼んでくださいね～。と言ったものの、忙しくならないと、心のどこかで思っていた。そうだ！たまにはスキーをレンタルしてみよう。勝手にブーツを選び、勝手にスキーを選ぶ、ビンディングをセットして…さー行ってみよう！と景気よく出かけてみた。気温があがるって言ってけど、いい雪。Ｒ-1も2も3も。

47を代表するゲレンデは今、絶好調♪真冬の恋♪スピードにのって～
雪が解けるほど恋したい～♪
解けません、最高の雪質です。R-1から白馬村を一望しながら滑るのって最高！

We don't have consecutive holidays in February this year.  To make the matter worse, we are affected by COVID-19 more or less.  That's why I didn't expect so many people coming to Hakuba 47 including the pizza house, "LUIS."  To spend my spare time, I decided to head to the slopes.  I chose my boots, ski, and so on so forth at the rental shop.  The temperature went up, but the snow condition on route 1, 2, and 3 were perfect!!  Enjoying the whole view of Hakuba while skiing down route 1 is awesome!!

そんな良い雪で人生初のスノーボード。
今日が初めてのスノボードなんですって。お友達がしっかり横について、見守りながら、指導しながら。なんかすごく初々しくなって声かけちゃいました。
ブログに載せましたよ～。こんないい雪なので成長も早いでしょう！
良い雪って何？
そう、それはうまくなった気分にさせてくれる雪なんです。いえいえ、本当にうまくなるのが早いんです…

I met a girl snowboarding for the first time on the slopes with such fine snow.  A friend of her was by her side and teaching her how to snowboard.  Hope the good snow helped her improve her snowboarding skill quickly.  What do I mean by "good snow?"  I mean the good snow is the one that makes you feel confident.  Yes, seriously, the good snow does help you improve your skill quickly.

あ～気持よく滑ったの2本だけでした。残念！

なんか、ゲレンデが元気になってきたみたい。学生やちびっ子たちも目にするようになってきました。ピザもよく売れました🍕

I saw Mr. Imura, a former SIA official demonstrator!  He was with his students.  His students will improve their skills quickly for sure taking advantage of the good snow and the great instructor.  When I was taking photos, my phone rang.  I got a call from the pizza house LUIS.  "Please come help us..."  My expectation was wrong.  They were hectic with many guests.  Looks like our slopes have gradually come alive.  We see more and more students and little kids, too.  LUIS' pizzas sold well!!  The weather will be sunny tomorrow.  Let's enjoy skiing/snowboarding!!

ハーフパイプ完成！

やっと、とうとう今日より47PARKSハーフパイプが完成いたしました。

長さ、幅等申し分ない出来になってるかと思います。

早速4人～5人の待ちが出る人気です！

平日なら待ちもなく十分楽しんで頂けるかと思います。

が、2シーズンぶりのハーフパイプ！

滑り方を忘れている方も多いかと思いますので、初めはオトナシメにお願いします。

Finally, at last, the half-pipe at 47 PARKS opened today!

The length and the width of the half-pipe are perfect!

It was so popular that there were people waiting for their turns.

If it were on weekdays, there would be no queue.

It's the first half-pipe in two seasons.  Do you remember how to play with the pipe?

Don't go too fast until your skill gets back.

It was fun and lively on the slopes today.

Only a bit more lively than the last few days or weeks.

It is nice to be busy sometimes, isn't it?

It is nice to see the crowds since it is outdoor.  Yes, please go outdoors.

Even with a camera on a smartphone, you could take beautiful photos like these.

You don't have to ski/snowboard.  Just coming to 47 to take some photos will do.

2021年2月11日Hakuba47ハーフパイプ始動！！！！！

皆様、大変長らくお待たせいたしました。

2021年2月11日Hakuba47のハーフパイプがとうとう完成します。

何とか明日に間に合わせるため急ピッチで整備が進んでいます。

雪は豊富にあるので思った以上に長いパイプが楽しめそう。

Thank you for your patience, everyone.

The half-pipe in Hakuba 47 will be finally completed on the 11th of February, 2021.

Maintenance is being done at a rapid pace in order to make it in time for tomorrow.

There is plenty of snow, so we could enjoy longer pipe than we expect.

雪落としは結構アナログ。パーク担当、頑張ってます！！！！！

The way that the snow is removed is not so modern.  Park staff are working hard!!! 

明日には、こんな感じでパイプが楽しめる事となります。

出来立てのパイプは狭いので怪我の無いようにお願いいたします。

全容は明日。こうご期待！

飛ばされる！

今朝、スキー場上部は－10℃、ベースエリアは－7℃と厳しい寒さでした。

午前中は、風が少し強いくらいで、上部ではサラサラのパウダーが降り続いていました。

午後にお天気が急変するとは思えない程の穏やかさ。

It was below freezing this morning: -10℃ on the mountain and -7℃ at the bottom.

The wind was a bit strong, and there was silky powder snow falling at the top in the morning.  It was so calm that no one could have expected the sudden change of the weather in the afternoon.

一週間前のブログでご紹介したLine-Eにある雪像。

作りかけの雪像が新雪に覆われて、何をつくっているのかわからなくなってきました(笑)

Here is a photo of the snow sculpture at Line-E that we mentioned in our blog a week ago.  The snow sculpture we had been working on was covered with fresh snow, and we have lost track of its original shape (lol).

今日のTree Riding Zone、何本滑っても新雪が積もって楽しかったんじゃないでしょうか？
午後に強風（爆風）が吹き荒れるまでは…

立っていることもままならない程の強風でしたね。

朝一、たくさんのお客様がビブを借りに来られました。誰よりも先に行きたい！と(笑)
お昼前になると、Tree Riding Zoneの初回講習は空いてきて、最後はマンツーマンでした。

爆風が吹き荒れる中、皆さんが無事に戻ってこられて安心しました。

明日は、どんな一日になるかな？穏やかな一日になりますように！

I guess our guests were not fed up with the Tree Riding Zone today, no matter how many runs they did because fresh snow continued to fall and piled up.
Until a blast blew in the afternoon...
The wind was so strong that we couldn't even stand still.

Many guests rushed to pick up their bibs for the Tree Riding Zone first thing in the morning.  "I want to get there before anyone else does!"

There were only a few people who came in to take the safety briefing before noon, and the last briefing was done one-on-one.

We were relieved to know that everyone got back safely despite the blasting winds.

I wonder how the weather is going to be tomorrow.  May it be a calm day!

パウダー、まだまだ！

今日は終日雪のお天気。

終日マイナス6～8℃と寒く、空気も冷たく、コースに出ていても指先がかじかんでくるくらいの寒さでした。

が、午後の一瞬北東の空が開けて青空が見えて明るくなりました！

一瞬でしたが綺麗でしたね～。

It snowed all day long today.  The temperature was below freezing, and my hands were numb from the cold.  For a brief moment in the afternoon, the northeast sky opened up and brightened with blue skies!

朝一は新雪が30cm弱。

風もあったので軽い雪でしたが叩かれて密度の濃いパウダーとなっていたため少々足を取られる感じでしたが、楽しめましたでしょうか？！

パークは初～上級までの方に楽しんでいただけました。

初級レーンではグループの皆で滑りながら1つ1つのアイテムをクリアして盛り上がりながら。楽しいですよね～。

There was about 30cm of fresh snow in the early morning.  The snow was light, but the density of the snow seemed high.  My feet were bogged down.  How about you?  Did you enjoy the snow?  Many people, from beginners to advanced, seemed to have enjoyed 47 PARKS.  In the beginner lane, everyone in the group had a great time trying each item one by one.

こちらは2/11(木・祝)にオープン予定のハーフパイプ！

おおよそ形になってきていますが、まだまだパキっとした形にはなっていません。

あと3日で仕上げますよ～。お楽しみに～！

This is a half-pipe which will be open on Thursday, February 11.  It is roughly formed, but not yet solidly formed.  It will be finished in 3 days.  Look forward to it!

さてこちらはHakuba47の中にある、滑走可能な複数のツリーゾーン。

このブログ用の写真を撮りに行ったのは午後でしたが、まだまだ踏まれていないパウダーがいっぱい！！！　今晩も降雪の予報が出ているので明日の朝もまた楽しみですね！！

今日は早く寝て明日に備えましょう～！！

This is one of the open tree areas in Hakuba 47.  I stopped by at the area to take a photo in the afternoon, but lots of powder was still there!!  We are expecting much more snow tomorrow morning.  Sleep early tonight and save your energy for tomorrow!!
 

All in One 47

　本日のブログ担当は、いつまでたってもスマホに指紋を認めてもらえないN婆で～す。

さて、皆さま覚えていらっしゃいますでしょうか？昨年Hakuba47の30周年を記念して作ったオリジナルスノーボードです。このスノーボードプレゼントにたくさんのお客様が、素敵なキャッチコピーを添えてご応募くださいました。

その中でもっともキラッと輝くキャッチコピーに選ばれたのが「All in One 47」です。

このキャッチコピーを考えてくださった大谷様に今日無事にスノーボードをお渡しする事ができました。ぜひこのスノーボードで楽しく滑って良い思い出を作ってくださいネ。

Last year, we made our original snowboard to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Hakuba 47.  We sought catchphrases for Hakuba 47, and many people shared their ideas.  We gave the original snowboard to Mr. Otani who had suggested a phrase "All in One 47."  Please have fun snowboarding and make good memories!

　こちらHakuba47をベースに活動しているスキースクール「リトルアドベンチャー」のレッスン風景。キャンプを中心に完全予約制のスクールです。「リトルアドベンチャーは山登り教室も開催するなど、1年を通して自然を学ぶことができるスクールなのです。

ダンディな校長先生を筆頭にベテランスタッフが揃ってますよ。

いつも楽しそうにレッスンされているので、私も興味深々です。
