雨を物ともせず

15日・16日とリメイクが入り、本日は待ちわびたパークリニューアルオープン日です。
After 2 days of remaking, 47PARKS reopened today.

予報では今日は1日中降るそう。ですがお客様方はあまり雨を気にしていらっしゃらないように感じます。良いですね、タフで素敵です。
The weather forecast says it will rain all day today, but visitors do not seem to mind the rain too much.  They look tough and cool.

アイテムのレイアウトでございます。ヨンナナのパークは丁寧で充実しているなと思います。4月の春スキーとなった今でこのアイテム数。パークのお客様が春になると増えるのも頷けます。今日も皆様思い思いに楽しんでいらっしゃいました。

This is how the 47PARKS looks like.  I think the 47PARKS has a variety of items, and they are well-maintained.  Look how many items they have even in April, the springtime.  I can see why the number of visitors increases in the spring.  All visitors were having fun in their own way today. 

ただやはり濡れると冷えますね。濡れた服は勿論、手足が冷たい顔も冷たい。こういう日の昼食はラーメンで決まりです。でも今日はうどんにします。

それでは、風邪等を引かないようお気をつけください。

When I get wet, my body gets cold.  My whole body gets cold.  Ramen is a good choice when it is cold, but I am going to have Udon noodles today.  Take care, everyone.

タイトルなし

また、コロナが大変なことになってきましたね。大阪をはじめ、兵庫、京都、東京、・・・・・10府県にまん延防止等重点処置が適用され。あーいつになったらマスクなしで過ごせるようになるのだろう？

前のこの2人の距離、絶妙な距離ですよね。なんかコロナを象徴するような1枚です。

コロナに疲れた人、スキー場へ来てください。最後のスキーに来てください。

人との距離も確保され、大自然の中良い空気がいっぱいです。

COVID-19 crisis does not end.  Semi-emergency coronavirus measures began in 10 prefectures including Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo, and other big cities.  I wonder when we can live without wearing a mask.  Look at this exquisite distance between the 2 seated in front of me.  It tells you a lot about the pandemic.  If you are tired of the pandemic, please come to our ski resort.  Come enjoy your last skiing of this season.  You can keep an adequate distance between others and get lots of fresh air in the great nature.

まだまだ、雪もたっぷりですから。山頂LINE-Eリフト沿いの雪の量はようやく建物の高さと同じレベルになってきました。今まで小屋の屋根よりはるかに高かった。

ここはゴールデンウィークまで全く問題なし滑走可能でしょう。

See how much snow we still have.  The snow piled up near Line-E chairlift station is as high as the hut.  It used to be much higher than the hut.  I'm sure that the snow around the mountain top will stay until the Golden Week.

昨日からスノーパークは最後のリメイク作業をさせていただいております。

今日の午前中、大体の雪の移動は終わり、アイテムの作成に取り掛かっていました。

圧雪車が1…2…3台、バックフォーが1台。大がかりな作業です。これから先は、沢山の雪を動かせる雪がなくなってしまうため、今回のリメイクはとっても大事な、大事な作業です。

さーて、明日の朝どんなパークになっているでしょうか。おたのしみにー。

47PARKS is under construction now, and the remaking process is almost done.  Staff were remaking the items with snow carried from other places.  It's an extensive work using several snowmobiles.  The remaking work this time is very important as we have no more snow to move.  Let's wait and see what the PARKS will be like tomorrow morning.  Stay tuned!

今日も、ちゃんめろ採りをされているお客様を数人見かけました。春の風物詩ですものね。でも、もう開いたふきのとうをとられる方を多く見かけます。上の写真が私が一番良いと思うサイズ。まだ袋から花が顔を出さず、パンパンに触れているふきのとう。これが一番です！

下の写真はこごみ。ようやく…ようやく頭が出始めました。山の春はこれからです。

あっ！そうそう、ふきのとう（ちゃんめろ）くらいなら、採っても怒られませんが、これから出てくるこごみやタラの芽、こしあぶらなどの山菜は、本来人様の山の持ち物です。

勝手に採ると、泥棒になりますので、くれぐれもご注意くださいね。

厳しく監視をされている、山の持ち主さんもたくさんいますのでね。

I saw some people picking edible wild plants.  That's one of the spring features.  Please refer to the above photos to check the best time to pick and eat the plants.  Not too big nor too small.  This is the best!  Some wild vegetables will come out soon.  There are plants which anyone can pick, but there are also plants that are prohibited to pick because they grow in private property.  You've got to be really careful, otherwise, you would be considered as a thief.

そんな新芽を楽しみにしているのは、人間ばかりではありません。今日はLine-Cリフトの下で、新芽を美味しそうに食べているカモシカにも出会いました。

冬もそうですが、こんなに近くで動物園でもないのに、国の天然記念物に会えるなんて。

カモシカは冬眠しません。冬の間は木の皮などが主食ですので、新しく出てくる緑の新芽は柔らかく、最高のごちそうなんでしょうね。

Not only human being, but also wild animals are looking forward to the fresh wild plants to come out.  I saw Japanese serow eating fresh wild plants under Line-C chairlift.  How lucky to be able to see the natural monument in our ski resort, not a zoo.  Japanese serow do not hibernate.  They mainly eat the bark of trees during the winter, so the soft, fresh wild plants in the spring are gorgeous meals for them, I think.

山頂はたっぷりの雪ですが、ベースセンターは昨日の47Todayでお伝えしたように、えっさえっさ雪運びをしてゲレンデを維持しております。

滑走ゲレンデの幅も徐々に狭くなってきていますので、初心者の方はゴンドラ下山をしてくださいね。

あっ、最後に・・・

There is still lots of snow on the mountain, however, as we mentioned in our blog yesterday, the snow at the bottom of the mountain is melting.  Staff have been carrying some snow from other places to keep the slope skiable.  The width of the slope is getting narrower, so please take a gondola down if you're a beginner.  Oh, and last but not least...

涙ぐましい努力

本日のブログ当番、春になって食欲の止まらないN婆です。

皆様スキー場に重機入れて何してると思います？

実はこれ駐車場脇の日陰に残っている雪をゲレンデに運んでいるのです。

What do you think the heavy equipment is doing on the ski slope?  Actually, they are carrying the snow left in the shade by the parking lot and moving it to the slope.

R1下部がかなり雪が減ってきて、平らな部分がほぼ無くなってきてしまいました。そこで雪を運んでペタペタと修正しているんです。涙ぐましい努力でしょ。少しでも長い間、皆さまにより広い滑走エリアをご提供できるよう、スタッフは日々頑張ってます。重機もレンタルしてきてお金かかってます。春スキー4500円なんて高いっって言わないでくださいネ。

The snow on the lower part of Route 1 is melting and that on the flat part is almost gone, so they were carrying some snow to fix the slope by flattening it.  What an tearful effort!  Our staff are working hard every day to provide you with as large ski area as possible.  We spend a lot on renting the heavy equipment, so 4500 yen for spring skiing could be reasonable.  Don't you think?

昨日のブログでR7の現状をお伝えしましたが、スキー場下部はどんどん雪が減ってきているのが現状です。初心者が行っても滑るところないんじゃない？？とご心配の方のために、山頂付近の初級コースR8をご覧に入れましょう。

なんということでしょう～～こんなに雪があるではありませんか～～

そう、ゴンドラに乗って山頂にあがればこんなに雪が豊富にあるんです。安心して滑ることができますよ。そしてこんな綺麗な景色も待ってますよ～～

As we mentioned in our blog yesterday, we are losing a lot of snow at the lower part of the slope including Route 7.  Some people might be wondering if there is anywhere that beginners could still ski.  For those who are wondering, let me show you another course for beginners.  Look!  We still have lots of snow!  Yes, if you take a gondola up to the summit, there is still enough snow with which you can ski safely.  You can enjoy beautiful sceneries like these, too.

今日は空いてて滑りやすかったR8でした。

It was nice to ski on the Route 8 today as it was not crowded.

そして下りてきてR1下部。所々穴が開き雪もザクザクです。かなり滑りにくくて疲れます。そんな時は無理せず焦らずゴンドラ下山！！昨日R7をあえて歩いてみたもの好きもおりましたが、安心安全ゴンドラ下山！！

明日の天気は晴れのち曇り。朝から楽しく滑りましょう！！

Now I came back to the bottom part of the Route 1.  It is not easy to ski there since there are holes here and there and the snow is hard.  If you ever felt tired skiing, please take the gondola back to the bottom.  It will be sunny/cloudy tomorrow.  Let's enjoy skiing from the morning!! 

雪なき林間コース、ルート7行ってみた！

ルート7とはヨンナナの下山用初心者林間コースである。
雪不足との事で閉鎖はしてないけど、徒歩区間あり。と言う事で、今 ルート7に入るとどういう事になるか？行ってきました。
11：43より突入！

Route 7 is a descending course for beginners.  It is not completely closed, however, there are walking-only sections where you cannot ski down due to the lack of snow.  What if we enter the route 7 now?  I went to see the course as I was curious.  It is 11:43 now.  Here we go!

入ってすぐは、十分な積雪。

余裕！余裕！まだまだ行ける！
滑走性が皆無ですが・・・。

There is still a plenty of snow left on the upper part of the route 7.  Lots of snow!  Heaps of snow!  We can still ski down!  It does not feel smooth to slide, though...

200ｍほど進むと雪の無い箇所が出てきました。

しょうがない、板を外して歩いて進む。

There was not enough snow to ski down on the course as I kept going about 200m ahead.  I took off my snowboard and moved forward on foot.

クロスコースも真っ青になるくらいのハードな細いカーブ！
ターンは切るな！はみ出るぞ。勢いだけで乗り切れ！

Look at the narrow curve!  The curve would make cross-country skiers turn deathly white.  Do not make turns!  Do not stick out!  Ride like crazy!

途中から完全に雪がなくなっています。
素直に歩きます。

No more snow on the lower part of the route 7.  Okay, I will walk docilely.

ルート1と合流。
ルート1も減ってきたとは言え、まだまだ余裕が感じられます。

The course merged into Route 1.  Though the snow on the route 1 is melting little by little, there is still enough snow to ski down.

さぁ、再びルート7へ！
意外にあります。
次のルート１までの合流間は、半分ほど滑れました。約400ｍ程度。
滑走性は相変わらず皆無！

Now I am back to the route 7!  There is snow much more than I expected.  I could snowboard halfway till I get to the merging point of the route 7 and route 1.  The length of it was about 400m.  Again, it was not smooth to slide at all!

はい、またルート1と合流。最後です。
まだ十分な厚みがあります。
ルート1は、もう少し頑張れるかも！

So, here I am on the route 1 again.  Toward the end, the snow depth is still thick.  The route 1 is still available!

そして、最終のルート7突入！
雪不足の看板さえないくらい、雪がない！開き直ってます。

This is the last part of the route 7!  It is obvious that there is no snow, so there is not even a sign saying the lack of snow!

「時折雪あります。」の看板が似合いそう。
さすがに、ここで板を付けて滑る強者はいないだろう！

It might be a good idea to have a sign, "there is only a bit of snow."  No one is strong enough to ski or snowboard here, I guess!

最終的に、ベースについたのは12：12。
ほぼ30分の旅です。
総括としましては、雪のあるコースを素直に滑りましょう。
景色はまだ、雪の無いだけの冬景色。綺麗な花も、眩しい新緑もない寂しいお散歩になります。時間を無駄にしたくなかったら、雪のあるコースを素直に滑りましょう。
あしからず・・・。

It was 12:12 when I got to the base area.  It was about 30 minutes trip.  In conclusion, let's ski on the courses where there is enough snow.  You will see no flowers or fresh green leaves, so walking on the route 7 would be kind of boring.  If you do not want to waste of your time, please ski on the courses with snow.  Thank you for your understanding...

雨でも…

雨。あいにくの雨。だけど、そんな雨の日でも良いことあるかも？そんな思いで47PARKSに行ってきました。

It's rainy.  Unfortunately, it's raining.  Well, but I'm sure there will be something fortunate even on rainy days.  With such a thought running through my mind, I went to 47 PARKS.

「びちゃびちゃですよ～。」「濡れて全身が重い。」「きれいな景色は見えないや。」やっぱりそうか。雨の日は、残念な気持ちになっちゃうか。

"We got soaked."  "I got drenched, so my whole body was heavy."  "We couldn't see the beautiful view."  Just as expected, rainy days make people disappointed.

ん？でも、楽しそうに滑っているじゃないですか！「雨の日の方が、板の滑りがいい。」というご意見も。47PARKSで滑り終えたお客様が、「雨で空いていたから、楽しかった！」と言いながら帰っていきました。残念なことばかりじゃない。やっぱり、良いこともある。

Oh, but there're people snowboarding happily.  Someone said, "The board slides better in the rain."  Another person who came back from the 47 PARKS said, "It was fun because the slopes were not crowded due to the rain."  I figured.  There aren't bad things only, but there are many good things as well.

急に雨が強まって、寒くなってきたので、ゴンドラ山頂駅で雨宿り。そこで偶然見かけたCAFE47の新作クッキー。おいしそう☆「しあわせクッキー」と書いてありました。雨宿りでたまたま見かけただけなのに、とても幸せな気分になりました。雨のおかげで。皆さんも是非、晴れの日はもちろん、雨の日でもHakuba47で楽しみを見つけてみてください。

The rain got heavier, and I felt chilly, so I went inside the gondola summit station.  I happened to see some new cookies there.  They looked good☆  It says "Happy Cookies."  I just happened to see the cookies and the label while taking shelter from the rain, but they made me feel very happy.  Thanks to the rain...  I hope you will find something to enjoy at Hakuba 47, whether it's sunny or rainy.

春になったら アレ だね。

いやぁ～、今日も引き続き良いお天気！

春らしい青のかすんだ晴天で、日差しが強く春色満点な1日となりました！

平日なのでお客様も少なく、マイゲレンデ状態で快適に滑れます！！

The weather has been nice in these days!  It's getting more spring-like.  Today was no exception.  With a blue sky that is a little hazy and strong sunshine, we felt that spring was in the air.  On weekdays, our slopes are not crowded, so you can enjoy the slopes as much as you'd like.  It's all yours!

47でもちらほらと見かけるこのスキー、踵の浮くテレマークスキー。

春のこのザラメの相性が抜群なんですね～。

色々なスタイルがありますが、このお写真の方は昔ながらの細板＆革靴での滑走で、R2の急斜面も滑っていらっしゃいました！　う～ん、シブいですね。

At Hakuba 47, some people enjoy free-heel skiing, "Telemark skiing."  Telemark skiing goes well with granular corn snow of spring.  There are a variety of styles, and the skier in the above photo was on the steep Route 2 with a classic thin ski and leather shoes on!  Really classic!

こちらの方も浅めのターンでリズムよくR1下部を滑っていらっしゃいました。

写真を撮りに出たのは11時頃でしたが、雪は柔らかく、それほど荒れても無くテレマークには最適なザブンとしたザラメで楽しい限りですね！

Another Telemark skier was skiing down the lower part of Route 1 rhythmically, making small turns.  When I headed for the slopes, it was around 11:00 am.  The snow at that time was soft and granular, so it was perfect for Telemark skiing!

最後はこの春から始めた我がHakuba47公式スクールのエース、T氏。

当然ですがアルペンスキーはお手の物ですが、テレマークスキーにはちょっと手を焼いているようでした！それでもさすが！今日2回目とは思えないほどの滑りで徐々に調整していけばすぐに綺麗に滑れそうなほど！　何だかんだでセンスが良いんですね～！

春になってこの雪でちょっと新しいアイテムにチャレンジするのにはもってこい！！

I saw the ace of Hakuba 47 official ski school, Mr. T who has just started Telemark skiing this spring.  Of course, he is good at alpine skiing, but not only that, he is also good at Telemark skiing!  Though he was struggling a little, it was hard to believe he tried it for the second time!  He is talented in skiing!  It is the best time to try new equipment on granular corn snow of spring!  Why don't you try Telemark skiing?  We don't have Telemark ski at our rental store, but we'd like you to try it!!

山と川

先週、先々週と日曜日は雨が続きましたが、今日はやっと太陽が戻ってきてくれました。

小さいお子様と一緒に散歩しているママさん、Tシャツ姿で日光浴している方、テラスで生ビールを美味しそうに飲んでる方、皆さん晴れの週末を楽しんでおられたようです。

It rained on Sunday last week and the week before, but the sun finally came out this Sunday.  I saw a mother walking with her kid, a person sunbathing in a T-shirt, a person drinking beer outside, and so forth.  Looked like everyone was enjoying the sunny weekend.

R-２では「テクニカル選手権」（通称　テク戦）が開催されました。
ロングターンやミドルターン、ショートターン、フリーライディングなどで滑りの技術とカッコよさで採点するテクニカル選手権！！皆さんカッコ良すぎてついつい見入ってしまいました。

There was a snowboard technical championship held on Route 2.  The technical championship was scored based on snowboarding skills and styles in long turns, middle turns, short turns, and free riding!!  All participants looked so cool that I gazed into them.

さて、夏の話題を一つ。

白馬４７スキー場の反対側にはこんな綺麗な川が流れています。

夏営業が始まるとこの川では「魚のつかみ捕り」が出来るのです！！

料金は1500円（魚1匹　焼き代込み）※予め焼いた魚と交換となります

都会ではなかなか体験できない魚の掴み捕り、大人も子供も楽しめます♪

是非体験にいらしてください、大自然と美味しいお魚がお待ちしています。

Let me talk about one thing about our summer operation.  On the other side of Hakuba 47 ski resort, there is a beautiful river.  When the summer season starts, you can catch fish in this river!!  It's 1500 yen/fish/person.  The fish you catch will be exchanged for precooked one.  Adults and children alike will enjoy catching fish, which is a rare experience in the city.  Please come experience it.  The great nature and yummy fish are waiting for you.
