賑わい見せた初日 Event Day (English Follows)

今日から三連休が始まりました！

お天気も終日雲なしの青空とは行きませんでしたが時折青空も顔を出し、気温も大きな冷え込みもなく、とても滑りやすい気候でした！

午前中は少ないなと感じた来場者も午後になるにつれ増えてきて場内は賑わいを見せました！

The three-day weekend started today! Weather was both sunny and cloudy making it a very comfortable day for skiing!

はいえ、雪は良かったですよー！！

サラサラの粉雪で雪面は柔らか目。

ターンの度に巻き上がるスプレーは見ただけでも軽くて気持ちよいのが分かりますね！！

皆さん楽しそうに滑っていらっしゃいました。

The snow surface was soft with silky powdery snow. Just looking at the spray that rolls up with every turn, you can tell it's light and comfortable.

パークも中級レーンに長い列ができていました。

上級レーンは只今スノーメイキング中！

アイテム作成までもう少しお待ちください。5月のGWまで雪を持たせるにはこの作業が欠かせません！！

ココはどこの山岳地帯だ？！

スキー場の中にいる感じがしないですね～。迫力の山々が目の前に広がります！

これでアルプスのバックが青空ならこの山々が更に際立った画になりますよ～。

滑るだけでなく見て楽しめるのも白馬のスキー場の特徴ですね！

This iconic Hakuba classic alpine view is very impressionable.

いいコンディションで来てますよー！Better & Better ( English Follows)

スカっっっっとは晴れないのですが、比較的明るい空でした。

気温もそこまで下がらず比較的滑りやすい穏やかな1日になりました。

LineCを降りた、通称『1450（イチヨンゴーマル）』では写真を撮る方が多かったです。

スカっっっっと晴れていれば北アルプスどーん何ですけどねー。

外国からのお客様が多く、英語での会話が飛び交っていましたよ。

The skies was relatively bright, though not completely clear. Many people were taking pictures at 1450 (Ichiyon Gomaru) as it is commonly called, off Line C. If it had been clear and sunny, there would have been a lot more people taking pictures of the Northern Alps.

We can see more and more visitors from abroad and many conversations were held in English. Thank you for coming to Hakuba 47💘

一昨日はパウダーでしたが、昨日今日でご覧のようなきれいなコブになりましたね！

見た目通り（？！）コブは柔らかい粉雪でとっても滑りやすかったです。

私のようなコブの苦手な者はこれくらいの柔らかさじゃないと滑れません…。😫

エキスパートじゃない方でも楽しめそうなコンディションでした！

Route 3 in this picture shows today's beautiful bumps!

They were covered in soft powder snow and very easy to ski.
For someone like me who is not good at bumps, this was fairly soft.... 😫.
Even non-experts could enjoy the conditions!

明日からいよいよ3連休ですね！

このコンディション、明日もキープしてくれそうなお天気。

ゴンドラ降りたらちびっ子担ぐ父ちゃんが、そしてもう一組見つけてお写真撮らせてもらいました。

一歳三か月と九カ月のちびっ子。滑りだす前からお父ちゃんの背中の後ろで既にzzzでした！

滑る時には起きるのか？！　それとも心地よい揺れで更に爆睡するのか？！

気持ちよさそうなちびっこ達でした！！

When I got off the gondola, I found a father carrying a little boy and another couple carrying their kids on their back. The children were sleeping.  Just one year, three months and nine months old!

 朝出勤するとこんなかわいい雪ダルマちゃんがN婆を出迎えてくれました。

何処から来たのか軒先にちょこんと座ってゲレンデを眺めているではありませんか！！

花びらのボタンを纏って可愛い装い。

あまりの忙しさに殺伐としたN婆の心をほっこり和ませてくれました。ありがとう！！

雪の白さを見るだけでストレス軽減できるらしいのです。皆さま白馬に来てストレス発散してみませんか？

と言うわけで本日はゲレンデ情報ゼロのよんななTODAYでした。

When I arrived at work in the morning, this cute little snowman greeted me.
Where did he come from? He was sitting on the eaves of the roof looking at the slopes!
Dressed in a cute outfit with flower petal buttons. Thank you! This really made my morning.

It is said that just looking at the whiteness of snow can reduce stress. Why don't you all come to Hakuba and relieve your stress? Come and ride the slopes and take your lunch on the mountain, you'll feel good!

寒い、寒い、寒い…。

ドカーンと晴れる日が少なく、⛄が降る日が多いですね。気温も低いまま、今日も終日マイナス気温で寒く感じる一日でした。

そのおかげでスキー場上部の木々は霧氷に覆われ、まさに白銀の世界！！

これはこれでキレイでいいんですよね～。

Very cold now, the mid-winter is upon us.

There are few days clear skies, and many days with snow and cloud at this time of the season. This is beautiful!

15時くらいのスキー場中～上部はまー白！

視界は悪かったのですが、とにかく雪がサラッサラの粉雪で引っかかる事がありません！！

なので滑っていても柔らかく気持ちよかったです。

Around 3pm the middle and upper area of the ski resort was white! Visibility was poor, but the snow was so smooth and powdery it was like a dream skiing out there today.

スキー場下部まで降りてくるとガスも抜けました！

R1下部は下地はスノーメイキングの雪で硬いのですが、その上に乗った粉雪がとってもイイ感じでターンの度に良いスプレーが上がります！！
The bottom part or Route 1 is a little more packed than the top due to snow making. But it means that every season we can keep top to bottom open.
With every turn the spray from our boards darts out!!

学校はまだ休みかな？

お子様連れのご家族の姿も多かったですね。

あと、外国からお越しのご家族も多くご来場されていました。

そして、明日は何だかお日さまマークの予報も出ています！

今日まで冷えに冷えた粉雪とお日さま。

これは滑るしかないですね！！

今日はどうにかこうにか、風祭だったゲレンデで初めてラインEに上がりました！

何とも静穏の広がる空気感。。

のように見えますが北風はビュービューでした。

でもこんなツルっとした雪面を見ていると滑りたくなっちゃいますね！

The air was so calm and quiet, but the north wind was blowing.

お客さん落書き？と思ったけど、これはどうやって書いたんだ？？

外側なのでお客さんには触れないのでゴンドラスタッフさんの落書きなのか？

ちなみにCOWゴンドラの番号は７７でも４７でもなく５９だということを

ツリーライド！Tree Riding Zone - TRZ (English Follows)

こんにちは！三が日中日はどうお過ごしですか？？

今日のHAKUBA47は-５℃とよく冷えて寒いです！

明日はもう少し冷えるような予報なので温かい格好で滑降してくださいませ！←

ラインC降り場は小雪が舞い徐々にガスが濃くなり。

Hello! How are you spending the middle of the first three days of the year?

It's -5℃ here, quite cold!

Tomorrow is forecasted to be a bit colder, so please dress warmly! 

Light snow was falling at Line C at the descent area and the gas was gradually getting thicker.

こんな日は視界が良いツリーゾーンへ！ Better visibility in the trees!

どんどん吸い込まれる人たち。 Getting sucked in to the TRZ! Make sure you register!!

10時台にどんな感じか見に行くと。。。

ギタギタのようで　 by 10:00am, the TRZ was demolished!!

！！

これは面ツルというやつ！

昨晩の降雪でかなり吹きだまっていた様子。

底付きなし。ブログ編集のカメラマンの私がヒャッホーしてしまいました。。

ツリーゾーンはゲートは狭いものの、中はとてもワイド。

明後日には新たな降雪もあるので是非ツリーライドへ！

本日は60人近いツリーライドのお申し込みがありました。

This is what I call a slippery slope!

Looks like it was pretty wind blown from last night's snowfall.

No bottoming out. 

Although the gate is narrow, the TRZ is very wide inside,

We'll have new snowfall the day after tomorrow, so be sure to go tree riding!

We had almost 60 people sign up for today!

本日はラインEでは強風のため運休&減速運転。。

午後にはラインCまでもルート１が雪煙をあげるほどの強風で運休してしまうほど。。泣

朝早くからお越し下さったお客様には多大なご迷惑をおかしました。

ブログをさかのぼっていたら、昨年元旦もまさかの強風運休。。

元旦には何かがあるのか。

At the gondola entrance, we handed out "go-en" (five yen), which is a gift from Hakuba 47. It might bring you good luck!

今年からそしてツリーライドゾーンは昨年と違い、

ビブの受け取りや返却が不要となりました。

同意書記入同じくありますのでご協力お願いいたします。

Today, the service was suspended and slowed down at Line E due to strong winds.

In the afternoon, Route 1 was so strong that even Line C had to be shut down 

We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers who came early in the morning.

If you go back to our blog in 2022, you will find that we were also closed on New Year's Day last year due to strong winds.

Is there something wrong with New Year's Day?

From this year, the Tree Riding Zone (TRZ) has changed it' system from a bibs to armbands.

You no longer need to pick up and return your bib.

Please fill out the consent form as well and watch the 2023 season safety video on you tube.

We had nearly 50 people sign up for the first day!
