We all feel good, and we all feel fine. It's obviously the warm and sunny weather that makes us feel like this!
Many guests were in light clothing today, like T-shirts and wearing sunglasses.
They were mainly from abroad and enjoying the park. The temperature wasn't as high as yesterday, but the weather was pleasant enough to wear more relaxed apparel.
The snow was firm and in good condition at the top most of the day. At the lower middle and bottom all courses had softer snow and in the early afternoon it was slushy. Guests are enjoying these conditions, but don't forget to be careful to control your speed and not to have an accident or collision with anyone else on the slope.
A typical spring scene! The Japanese North Alps and snow shapes are starting to appear as some snow melts and some snow sticks to the ruggered mountain faces.
The snow in the base area is getting thinner, but we still have over 2.5m at the top at 1.4m at the bottom.
It's solid and fully skiable from top to bottom.
At the base area we have a snow escalator for beginners to use when they reserve their lessons with the snowboard school.
It's really easy for beginners to use so they don't have to take off their boards and walk up every time from the bottom!
We highly recommend to take lessons! After all, the speed of progression is different when you join a school and have a friendly & well-experienced instructor.
If you want to try snowboarding from now on, please take a lesson at Hakuba47 Snowboard School.
