毎週土曜日14：30より恒例となるイベントが今日から始まりました。

その名も『現金5,000円争奪！大抽選会』

先着100名様限定。誰でも参加可能な大抽選会！

毎週土曜日、誰か1人に5,000円が当たるチャンス。

毎週土曜日はHakuba47に集まれ！

Happy New Year, everyone!  Our annual event which is held every Saturday at 2:30 pm started today.  The name of the event is "Draw to win 5,000 yen!"  The first 100 people who were in line had a chance to participate in the drawing.  Every Saturday, one of you will have the chance to win 5,000 yen, so come join the event!!

年越し寒波で大雪と言われていましたが、やっぱり大雪です。

この2日でベースでもこの雪量！

営業中にも関わらず、屋根雪落としをしないといけなくなってしまいました。

As forecasted, it snowed heavily on the new year's day!  See the snow piled up at the base area over the last two days!  So much snow!!  We had to clear the snow off the roof even during our business hours.

そして、山頂付近になるとこんな事になっています。

屋根雪が2ｍ超え！少しの間は雪いらないかなっ。

何て言ったところで来週の寒波はもっとすごいらしい・・・。

さぁ、大雪の白馬に皆さまいらっしゃい！

とんでもないパウダースノーがお待ちしています。

And this was what it looked like near the top of the mountain.  The snow on the roof is over 2 meters high!  Feel like we don't need snow any more for a while.  I heard that the cold wave would be even stronger next week.  Visit Hakuba to experience the heavy but fluffy snow!  There will be tons of powder snow waiting for you!!

明けましたねー。2021年！

2021年も47をよろしくお願いします！！

昨日の大晦日を上回る、朝方からの怒涛の降雪。あっと言う間にすごい量の新雪となりました。今日はイベント尽くめで上部に行く暇がありませんでしたが、ベースからの写真でもしっかりパウダーを楽しむお客様のショットが撮れるほどのバフバフ！

新年早々バフバフ感を楽しんでもらえたんじゃないかと思います。

We had tons of fresh snow - much more than we expected - today!  We had some new year events at the base area, and all the guests who took part in the events enjoyed fluffy powder snow!

いつもならお正月らしく、お神酒をお出しして、お餅を杵臼でついて、お雑煮を作って皆さまに振る舞い！！っと行きたいところでしたが、この新型コロナウィルスの感染拡大防止の施策として中止に…。

さて、それじゃ何しよう？！　と言う話になり、　じゃ、ご来場の皆さまにご縁(五円)をお配りしては？！との話になり、今日はご来場のお客様にゴンドラで5円のプレゼンをを行いました。ご家族でもたくさんご来場いただきましたね。

Annually, we offer Sake and Mochi rice cake in soup, but not for this year as we need to prevent the spread of COVID-19.  So, we discussed what we could offer instead.  Then, we came up with the idea - offering 5 yen!  Because "fate" and "five yen" are both pronounced "go・en" in Japanese, we decided to make 5 yen offerings praying a good fate for our guests.

毎年恒例の小学生対象の宝探し大会！

ここ数年は雪が少なくてお宝が隠れない始末…。

しかし今年はその反動(?!)なのか、腰まで埋まる大雪となり、子供たちもお宝探しに終始ラッセルラッセルでした！　お目当てのお宝にありつけたかなー？！

One of our popular, annual new year event is "Treasure Hunt" for children.  Over the last few years, we hadn't had enough snow to hide treasures, but the snow piled up this year made it easy for us to hide the treasures (made it difficult for children to find the treasures, though...).  The children were digging the snow that piled up to above their waist!

さぁ、こちらも毎年恒例の『スノーフラッグ大会』！

2本のフラッグのうち、1本はなんと、現金1万円！！！

もう1本は共通リフト券3枚！！！

金額としてはリフト券、そうはいっても現金が1万円、

さぁ、あなたならどちらを選ぶ？！

写真は見事全身雪に埋もれながら商品をゲットしたお二組。

終始お父ちゃんに、『パパがんばれぇ～』と声援してもらって見事1万円！

おめでとうございました～。

今晩、パパになにか美味しいもの食べさせてもらえるかな？！

Here's another event, "Snow flag contest."  The person who reached flags won prizes like 10,000 yen and lift tickets!!  Kids cheered their daddy crawling in the snow to get a flag, and the daddy won 10,000 yen!!  Congratulations!!!  I wonder what the family would spend the 10,000 yen on. 

大雪予報！？

大雪予報でスタッフは皆、身構えておりましたが、思ったほどの降りではなく少しホッとした朝でした。

ゲレンデは上部で40㎝ほどの新雪。さらっさらの新雪が楽しめました。

大雪予報で皆さま敬遠されたのでしょうか、ゲレンデはがらがらでした。

駐車場も余裕で空きがあり、リフト待ちもほとんどなく、これで大晦日？

と思ってしまうほどのよんななでした。

去年の混雑は何だったのか？

滑りたい放題のゲレンデでした。

The snowfall was not as much as we expected today.  There was about 40cm of fresh snow on the top of mountains.  Slopes were not crowded maybe because some people expected too much snow.  New year's eve this year was very quiet.  What was the congestion we had last year??

明日は元旦福々祭り開催します！！

ただ今年は例年のように、お神酒の振る舞いも大人気のお餅つきも行えません。

なので思い切ってじゃんけん大会や宝探しの景品を豪華にしちゃいました～～

と言う事で、粉雪が降っています。粒の小さなサラサラの粉雪が降っています。

おかげで、はっきり言って既にむっちゃ寒いです。

でも、明日からもっと雪が降り、寒くなる予報です。

お越しになる際はしっかり防寒対策をしてお越しください。

It's freezing cold, and the cool temperature made perfect powder snow.

According to a weather report, it's going to get colder and snow more heavily tomorrow and the day after.

レッスンを受けていても、やっぱり雪の中！

でもその代わり、生徒さんが一人なのでプライベートレッスン！

天候のあまりよくない日はお得かもしれません。

Some people were taking ski/snowboard lessons in the falling snow.

Because of the weather, there weren't so many students.

You might be able to take one-on-one lessons on a snowy day!?

良く降っています。

でも、まだまだ降る予報となっています。

明日には、粉雪・大雪・パウダースノーのお知らせが出来るかもしれません。

It's going to snow more and more later today, tomorrow, and the day after.

Hopefully, we will have much more powder snow for our guests to enjoy!

絶景！

今日、早朝のLine-Eからの眺め、稜線がくっきりはっきりと見えて、とっても綺麗でした！あの上からの景色も最高なんだろうな～。登りたいな～。冬山は危険なので登らないけど。Let me share the magnificent morning view from Line-E!  We could see the ridges so clearly.  I'm sure the view from the top of the mountain is also beautiful!  I feel like I want to hike up and enjoy the view from the top, but I wouldn't do that because I think it's too dangerous to hike up the northern alps in winter.

ランチタイムにピザハウスルイスを覗いてきました。おいしそうなピザを目の前にお食事を楽しまれるグループを見かけて声をかけさせて頂きました。「はい、チーズ！」ではなく、「はい、ゴルゴンゾーラ！」のかけ声で写真を撮る方が、素敵な笑顔が撮れるようで(笑)

I walked into the pizza house "LUIS" during my lunch time.  There I saw a group of people having a good lunch time with LUIS' pizzas.  Looked yummy!!  One of them suggested me to say "Say gorgonzola!" instead of "Say cheese!" when taking photos.  That way, I could take bigger smiles, haha!  How's that??

ゴンドラ山麓駅すぐ隣にあるレンタルショップにも立ち寄ってみました。スキー板、ボード、ブーツ、ヘルメット、ウェアその他、種類もサイズも豊富に揃っていました。とってもフレンドリーなスタッフさん達が出迎えてくれましたよ♪

I also stopped by a rental shop right next to the gondola station.  They have a variety of equipment and goods!  Super-friendly staff welcomed me!!  Should you need any help with ski/snowboard rentals, they will definitely be of your help!

そして最後の一枚。ベースエリアとルート1の様子。混み過ぎず、閑散とし過ぎず、ちょうど良い感じのお客様の入りでした。

Here's another photo I took today.  It wasn't too crowded nor too quiet at the base area.  To all the guests and staff, I really appreciate your time and smiles!!  Hope you all have a wonderful day at 47 tomorrow, too!

グッドコンディション！

気温高めの朝。どんより曇っていましたが、徐々にお日様が出てきました！

ベース周りの雪はしっとり湿雪になってきたので、上部も重くなったかなーと思い上に上がりましたが、しっとり気はあるものの、程よい軽さの雪！

写真はルート2で、LineC循環でのコースはとても滑りやすいGOODコンディションでした！

It was warm this morning, so I thought the snow on the mountain would be wet and heavy, but it was not as heavy as I thought.  The photo was taken on route 2.  The condition of the route 2 was great!

ルート4のパーク、『47PARKS』は昨日なかった5mBIGキッカーが再登場。今日も列がでていました。スノーメイクの比較的硬い雪でしたが、上手な方ばかりで調子良さそうでした。

There was a queue for a 5-ｍeters big kicker set at 47 PARKS on route 4 .  The snow there was solid, but all advanced skiers/snowboarders were having fun!

今日から『ツリーライディングゾーン』がオープン！

47にはコースとコースの間のツリーのエリアが複数滑れますが、その中でも2つのエリアがメンバー専用のツリーエリアとなっています。事前に危険な個所や、滑走の際に注意していただきたいことをシーズンに1度初回に講習頂き、滑走可能になるプログラムです。

今日はイマイチの雪だったかもですが、この後の降雪の際は調子良さそうですね！！

Tree Riding Zones opened today!  There are several tree riding zones in Hakuba 47, and two of them are only for skiers/snowboarders signed up for the special zones.  There are some requirements to fulfill in order to be a member of the tree riding zones, and if you are eligible, you just need to attend a lecture on your first day of skiing/snowboarding at 47!

賑やかな2家族にお声掛けしました！

年末のお休みで、いとこ同士でスキーに来てくれました。

滑れる子と引っ張ってもらう子と、みんなで楽しそうに滑っていました。

年末年始でこれからご家族の姿も増えるのかな？

I saw and talked to a family who visited Hakuba 47 with their relatives.  They looked so happy skiing all together!  We hope more and more families come during winter vacation!

ツリーライディングゾーン始動！

今シーズンは雪が多く、「まだかまだか？」と沢山お声を頂いておりましたが、やっと準備が整いました。

何の準備が整ったって？

そうです！みんなが大好きな”パウダースノー”の準備が整いました。

大変お待たせいたしました。

明日12/28日よりツリーライディングゾーンの開放をいたします。

毎日8時から12時まで講習会を行いますので、興味のある方はぜひお越しください。

今日は今年最後の日曜日！本来ならコミコミで大変な時期ではあるのですが、今日のお客様の入りはと言いますと、「ちょうどイイ」感じです。

多からず・少なからず・儲からず・・・。

スキー場としてはちょっと寂しい感じはしますが、今シーズンは滑ることを楽しむシーズンとしてしっかり楽しんでください。

「儲けることはあきらめた！替わりにしっかり楽しんでくれよっ！」

It was the last Sunday in 2020.  Normally, our park is full of people at this time of year, but today our park is not so crowded.  It was "just right" for guests.

We are happy as long as our guests are happy skiing/snowboarding at 47!

雪は上部で175ｃｍ・下部でも115ｃｍ。

雪質最高！快晴！客まばら！

滑るには最高の条件がそろいにそろっています！

もう一度言います。

「儲けることはあきらめた！替わりにしっかり楽しんでくれよっ！」

There were about 175cm of snow at the top, 115cm at the bottom.

Snow condition was perfect!  Beautiful weather!  Not so crowded!

We are happy as long as our guests are happy with skiing/snowboarding at 47!
