いよいよだ！Almost there! (English follows)

さて、今年はずいぶん待たされました…。

ですが、ありがたい事に2夜連続の降雪でスキー場最上部のみとはなりますが、オープンさせていただく事が出来そうです！　今朝から明日の準備でリフトスタッフ、圧雪スタッフ、パトロールスタッフとバタバタと最終の作業。　楽しみですね！👍

Well, we have waited a long time for this year....2022-23 season is OPEN!

Since this morning, the lift staff, snow grooming staff and patrol staff have been busy with final preparations for tomorrow. We're looking forward to it! 👍

一足早くお隣の五竜さんがアルプス平パノラマコースをオープンしました！

コンディションは、サラッサラの超ドライパウダー！

天然雪100%オープンですよ～。パノラマコース850mすべてが天然雪100%でドライパウダーを堪能できました！！！　そして明日はLineE沿いのR8上部がオープンするので滑走距離は一気に1,000mを超えますよ！

Goryu ski resort next door opened the Alpsdaira, Panorama Course today and the conditions are super dry powder!
Panorama course is 850m of 100% natural snow!
And tomorrow, the upper part of Route 8 (R8) along Line E will be open, so the skiing distance will be over 1,000m.　

さて、気になる明日オープンするR8上部のコンディションですが、今日は圧雪クルーの作業にお邪魔して圧雪車の横に載せてもらい入念にチェック！

R8上部、全く、全く、全く問題ナシ！

存分にこちらも天然雪100%を堪能できるでしょう～！

あー、楽しみだぁ～！！

Today, we visited the snow crew to check the condition of the upper part of R8.

We rode the grooming truck to get a the best impression.
No problem at all!

そして圧雪作業はR8上部のみならず、どんどん下のコースの方へ。

下に行くにつれやはり『ヒゲ』が出てくるのですが、「これ、滑れるよね～」なんて会話しならがの作業でした。写真はR1上部の後半の方ですが、この写真みてるとLineC周り、行けるんじゃないかなって思ってしまいますが、やはりLineCの乗り場回りのR5、R6まで降りてくると、オープンして沢山の方に滑ってもらうには流石にキツイかな…と思ってしまうのでした…。　ホントにもう一息です！　次の降雪に期待ですね！！

何はともあれ、明日はLineEぞいのR8上部コースのオープン！

お天気も良さそうなので🌞今シーズンの初滑り、47にお出かけくださいネ！

We groomed not only the upper part of R8, but also the lower course.

As we went down, there was still some bushes exposed, we still need another couple of heavy snow dumps to safely open the connecting courses at the bottom of R1 to ride line C and Line A・Ｂ. 

One more snowfall away!!

いよいよ、12/10（土）にLineE沿いR8上部オープンです！Line E OPENS 10th DEC! (English follows)

昨夜の降雪。

あまり期待していませんでしたが、朝起きてみると里も真っ白。

47のベースエリアも5cmほどの降雪でしかも重い雪。

根雪にはいいぞーっと思ってスキー場の上部の様子が送られてくると！！

なんだかガッツリな積雪ではありませんか！！！

The base area of 47 also had about 5cm of snowfall and it was heavy snow.

LineE乗り場付近で積雪は60cmほど！

コースオープンする積雪の目安として50cmほどを見ていますが何とかクリアかな！！

The situation at Line E boarding area, there was about 60cm of snow!
We are looking at about 50cm of snow to open the course, I think we'll get there!

ステーション周りの作業をするブルドーザーもすっかりこの様子。

という事で47は明日の12/9（金）に圧雪作業をはじめLineE周りの最終整備・調整をして万全の準備をして12/10（土）よりLineE沿いのR8上部のオープンを予定しています！

ここ最近の天気予報から行くと、このタイミングのオープンも難しかなと正直思っていたのでこの降雪は本当にありがたい！！🙏😤

あとはこの雪がしっかり残って順調にベースまで雪が降り続いてくれるだけ！

ひとまず上部のオープン、お楽しみに！！

あと、一つご注意ですが、LineEのみオープンの場合は、Hakuba47のベースエリアから47ゴンドラでのアクセスはできません。（47チケットセンターもクローズです）。

アクセスはエイブル白馬五竜スキー場テレキャビンをご利用ください。

47でシーズン券をお申し込みの方は一旦47事務所にてシーズン券をピックアップして頂いた後にテレキャビンにアクセスください。

The bulldozers working around the station! Cool right!!

So, Friday 9th December, Hakuba 47 will begin the final maintenance and adjustments around Line E, including some grooming to be ready for the opening of the upper part of R8 along Line E on Saturday 10th December. 

Also, please note that when only Line E is open, there will be no access from  Hakuba47 base area by the 47 gondola (47 Ticket Center is also closed). Guests need to access the Able Hakuba Goryu Ski Area Telecabin.

If you have applied for season pass at Hakuba 47, please pick up your season pass at the 47 office before accessing the telecabin.

アルプス平は Alps Daira (English follows)

昨夜、良い降りになりだしたので明日の朝は…と期待したら　里は真っ白！❄️

国道側まで降りてくると降雪による積雪は1cm～2cmって感じでしたが、久しぶりに村の中が真っ白になりました！

午前中は雲が広がっていましたがお昼になると青空が！☀️　

LineEからのアルプス平はどんな感じでしょう～。

Last night, it started to rain, so I expected it to rain tomorrow morning...but the village is completely white about 1-2cm!
By noon, there was blue sky.

パッと見た感じは滑れるんじゃない？！
なんて思ってしますが、まだまだ積雪少なく地面の地形が出てますね…。
LineE周りももちろん厳しいですが、もう一息か…。
後一降り欲しい！！

Poof, it looks like it's skiable! We thought it would be, but there is still not much snow and the terrain is still exposed with some rocks and bushes....

LineE山頂駅。

昨夜の降雪、風が出ていたようです。

積雪の薄い所と厚い所がありました。

平均では30cm弱と言うところでしょうか。　圧雪入る前に50cmの積雪が欲しいのですが、今回の30cmがしっかり根雪になってくれれば次が来た時には期待が出来るかな…。

もう少しの辛抱か…。

Line E summit station.

There were thin and thick areas of snowfall and the average was less than 30cm.　We'd like to see 50cm of snow before the grooming starts, but if the 30cm of snow becomes a solid snow, we can hopefully open very soon.

I guess we will have to wait a little longer....

あの赤い、Big Red (English follows)

う～ん、なかなか降ってくれません…。

ベース周りは中々白い景色になってくれません…。

昨夜もほぼベースエリアまでの降雪はあったのですが、ほんのちょっぴり。朝一はうっすらあった雪も瞬時に消えてしまいました😭。

ドカッと来てほしいものです…。そろそろ白馬にも～。

明日明後日と雪マークがついているので期待したいところですね！！

ところで。

R4のスノーパーク『47PARKS』を中心にHakuba47をサポートしてくれている『牛乳石鹸』さん。パーク内のアイテムから始まり、色々なシカケで47を盛り上げてくれて言っています。

もうご存じの方もいらっしゃるかと思いますが、子供にも大人気の赤いゴンドラ。牛乳石鹸ラッピングのされたゴンドラ乗車時に応募できるキャンペーンも今年も開催しますョ。

そんな牛乳石鹸さんがゴンドラの乗り場・降り場の横の大きな看板にどどーんと出していただけました！！　存在感ありますね～。

Well, it has yet to make it's appearance....that first real big snow dump!
It snowed a little at the base, then only to disappear the next day😭.
We're expecting it any day now so keep an eye on our social media and live cams, for the best snow conditions are on the way.

Our major sponsor "Milk Soap" has been supporting Hakuba47 with their snow park "47PARKS" in R4. Starting with the items in the park, they have been making 47 more exciting with their various jumps, rails and items.

毎年恒例の！Annual Greens (English follows)

レストランでは、毎年恒例となっているお菜漬けが始まりました。

アリスとルイスでお出しする野沢菜。毎年47のオリジナルとして手製で漬けた野沢菜を皆さまにご提供しています。

今年も美味しくできるかな～？！😉

The annual pickling of greens has begun at our restaurants.
Nozawana (a Japanese green leaf vegetable often pickled) will be served at Restaurant & Cafe Alice and Luis Pizza. Every year we serve hand-pickled Nozawana to everyone visiting as 47's original welcome gift.

Let's see if we can make it tasty again this year!!! 😉 

写真だけ見ると、おおっ～！！

と思ってしまうのですが、積雪は約15cmほど。

午前中は降りがそれなりに良かったのですが、午後になると降雪も落ち着いてしまいました。しっかり冷えているんですけどね～。

さすがにこの積雪ではオープンが出来ません…。

今後の降雪に期待したいところです。

Just looking at the picture, you may think, oh~!
The snowfall was about 15cm.

The precipitation was reasonably good in the morning, but in the afternoon the snowfall settled down. It was cold though!

As expected, we cannot open with this amount of snow....

It's coming, so in the meantime, start preparing your ski and riding gear for opening day⛷🏂

2022-2023シーズンの安全祈願！Big Snow, Safe Season (English follows)

本日、Hakuba47にて今シーズンの安全祈願の式を執り行いました。

毎年行っている安全祈願ですが今シーズンも現在集まっている従業員全員が参加し、

そして安全祈願と共に雪乞いも願っております…。

それにしても今年は暖かい…。これまでは。

これから一気に冷え込んできてほしいものです…。

Today, we held a safety ceremony to pray for this season's safety on the snow for all staff and guests. Remember SAFETY FIRST!!

Let's hope it will get colder from now....

神主さまに今シーズンご来場されるお客様の安全と、スキー場の安全を祈願した祝詞を唱えてもらい、まずは社長から玉串奉奠。今シーズンの安全やご来場のお客様皆さまが楽しんで頂けるよう祈願させて頂きました！

After the Shinto priest recited a prayer for the safety of our guests and the ski resort, the president of the company presented the sacred branch to the replica shrine. 

神様にお供えして霊の宿った御神酒を従業員一同で頂きました！
パワー注入！　後は雪が降ってオープンできるだけ！！！

All the staff members offered the sacred sake (Japanese rice wine) to the Gods and enjoyed it in high spirits! A powerful feeling for us!!

Now all that is left is for the snow to fall and for us to open!

日々のコース整備の圧雪車、お客様をお迎えお送りするシャトルバス、駐車場や47までの道を快適にする除雪車もお祓いして頂きました。

今シーズンも良いシーズンになりますように！

冬将軍さん、そろそろお出まししてくださいね！！！

We also had an exorcism in front of the snowploughs that maintain the daily maintenance of the course, the shuttle buses that pick up and drop off our guests, and the bigger snowploughs that clear and clean the roads to the parking lots and Hakuba 47 to make it comfortable for everyone.

Now all the demons and evil spirits have been evicted.

降ったぜぃ～ Snow!! (English follows)

朝起きてびっくり！

天気予報でちょっとしぐれる予報も出ていたけどスキー場がほぼ一面白くなるほどとは思っていなかったので真っ白になったスキー場みてびっくりでしたね。

リフトスタッフが早速上部まで上がるとスキー場最上部は15～20cmってところでした。

さすがにこれでオープンはできないなぁ～。

もう一降り、二降りですね！

What a surprise this morning!

The weather forecast had predicted a little snowfall, but we did not expect the ski slopes to be almost completely covered in white.

The lift staff checked at the top to find only 15 to 20cm deep.

As expected, we can't open the ski area with this condition.

We need a few more days like this so that we can open.

スキー場中間部はどうでしょう～。

ゴンドラ山頂駅付近では約10cmの積雪がありましたよ。

日が当たっちゃうと解けそうな感じでしたが、しっかりと白くなってくれてましたね。

How about the middle part of the ski area?
There was about 10cm of snow near the gondola exit.

R4方面は！

こちらもしっかりと白ーく！

空気は冷たくて日が当たらなければ溶けることはなさそうでしたが、すぐに次が降ってくれないと根雪にはちょっと足らないかなって感じです。

In the direction of Route 4, we could see there was solid white on the ground!
The air was cold and it didn't seem to melt in the sunshine but, if it doesn't snow again soon, it won't be enough for the base snow cover to open the slope.

Let's keep praying to the snow gods...

降雪機も準備万端ですよ～。

後は条件揃えば吹き始められるかな～。
