春の喜びを全身で感じる…！！

 

今日は春分の日
天気も良くお客様の声もなんだか陽気に聞こえます。
〔自然をたたえ、生物をいつくしむ〕
春分の日にはそんな意味がありますが、村内を歩いているとふきのとうがヒョコヒョコ出てきています。春ですねぇ、気分も朗らかになります。

「ふき味噌とクリームチーズのディップを作ろうか」そんなことを考えながら結局は採らずに愛でるだけ、そんなここ最近です。

It's the spring equinox day today.  The weather is fine, and our guests sound somewhat cheerful.  "Praise the nature and cherish living things."  The spring equinox day has such meaning in Japan.  I found some butterbur sprouts while I was walking in Hakuba village.  Spring is just around the corner.  The arrival of spring brings a cheerful mood.  Lately, I've been thinking about making some dip with butterbur miso and cream cheese, but I ended up just looking at the butterbur instead of picking them.

そんな中、不安そうな顔の事務所スタッフが１名。なんと、スキーをやってみると言うじゃありませんか！素晴らしいチャレンジ！！

石橋を叩きすぎて割ってしまう程の慎重な性格なので、きっと楽しみよりも不安が大きいことでしょう。立ち向かう壁はそびえ立つどころかそり返っているように感じているかもしれません。

楽しみ？不安？と聞いてみると、楽しみ0：不安10だと言っていましたが、最後には「楽しい2：不安8になった」と！素晴らしい進歩です！！

更なる安心要素、ここはスキー場！ワンダフルな環境でございます。周りには上手な人がたくさん！先生がたくさん！まだまだ時間はあります。ゆっくり焦らず、たまに勇気を出しながら、少しずつ自信を付けていってほしいなぁと思います。

明日から筋肉痛だろうなぁ…ふふ

There was a staff member with an anxious look on her face.  What a surprise!  She said she would try skiing for the first time!  What a great attempt!  "Look over and over again before you leap!"  She is like that - excessively cautious.  She must be more worried than excited.  She might feel as if the walls she faces were warped instead of standing straight.  "Excited or scared?"  I asked her, and she answered, "Not excited at all.  100% scared."  After practicing, she said, "I'm now 20% excited and 80% scared."  That's great progress!  No worries!  This is a ski resort, wonderful environment for learning how to ski.  There are many good skiers and instructors around!  Besides, she still has time.  Take your time, be brave sometimes, and build up your confidence little by little.  I'm sure her muscles will be sore tomorrow...haha!

「やったー！」と小さく飛び跳ねながら前に進み出てきたり、その嬉しさでヘルメットからゴーグルが外れてしまうなど、少女のようなお方でございました。

さて。

そろそろ人気のイベントになってきたかな？という感触がある中で非常にさみしい気持ちですが…この【現金5,000円争奪！大くじ引き大会】、来週で最後です！！ラスト5,000円は一体誰の手に渡るのでしょうか！

Here comes our popular event!  There's a long queue even before we called our guests.  There were more than 100 people being in the line!  The lady in the photo was today's winner!  "Yay!"  She was just like a little adorable girl.  She was so happy that her goggles dropped off her helmet when she jumped with joy.  We are very sad to say that this event ends next week.  Who will be the last winner?!  It'll be rainy tomorrow.  Ski or snowboard safely tomorrow!
