ゲレンデ祭Day 2

わっしょ～い！わっしょ～い！
良いお天気に恵まれたゲレンデ祭二日目です。
ウッディM美がお伝えします。
今日も可愛いジェシー達がチケットセンターでお出迎えしていました。
こちらはゴンドラより、金髪の幼稚園児と
一生懸命働くペンギンおじさん。

It was the second day of the Gelande Festival, blessed with beautiful weather.  Cute Jessie and her friends welcomed all guests at the ticket center today.  At the gondola station, kindergarteners and a hard-working penguin welcomed the guests.

「Hakuba47スノーチャレンジ2021スノーボードクロスキャンプ＆草大会」
スノーボードクロスの大会はなんと今回が23年目の開催となります！
クロスコースを利用してテクニックと速さを競います。
どの選手もとても素晴らしい滑りでした！

"Hakuba47 Snow Challenge 2021 Snowboard Cross Camp and amateur competition"

It was the 23rd year for the snowboard cross competition!  The participants competed for technique and speed on the cross course.  Their snowboarding skills were awesome!

ゲレンデ祭はまだまだ続きます～。
ベースエリアではじゃんけん大会です。
景品には白馬村の特産品紫米をドドーンとプレゼント！
大人も子供も一緒になって盛り上がっていました(^^♪

The Gelande festival was still going on!  We had a rock-paper-scissors game at the base area.  The prize was purple rice, a specialty of Hakuba Village!  Both adults and children got very excited!

ゲレンデ祭最後のビッグイベントは「スノーフラッグ大会」
優勝賞品なんと！現金1万円！！もしくはリフト券
ただただ雪の上を走りまくって先にフラッグを掴んだ人に一万円かリフト券！
春雪はとにかく走りにくい！歩くだけでも息が切れるＮ婆とＭ美。。。
もっと運動しないといけないね…と誓い合ったのでした。

The last big event of the Festival was the "Snow Flags competition!"  The prize was 10,000 yen in cash or lift ticket!  Just running around on the snow, and the first two people to grab the flags won 10,000 yen or the lift ticket!  Wet snow is just so hard to run in!
