本日は晴天なり…あ～あ～本日は晴天なり…

昨日も天気が良かった～。今日もいい！いやっ昨日よりいいかも！

全国的に好天に恵まれました今日、スキー場の山頂に行っても、ベースにいても360度雲はなし。富士山まで見えそうな勢いでした。

早めにゲレンデの写真を撮ろうと、OPENと同時に山頂へ行ってきました。早めの行動に間違いなし！リフトから見る五竜岳は一段と大きく見え、残雪が素晴らしい！滑っているお客様にカメラを向けても青空の中。昨日同様、写真を撮るには最高の朝。

The weather was fine yesterday, and so was today!  It might be nicer today than yesterday.  It was a beautiful day nationwide, and no matter where I go, the sky was cloudless.  The sky was so clear as if Mt. Fuji could be seen from the mountain top.  I went to the top of the mountain first thing in the morning.  An early bird catches a worm.  I could see Mt. Goryu and remaining snow closely from a chairlift.  Because of the blue sky, photos I took came out nicely.

R-1では、途中で止まって残雪の北アルプスを眺め、一息ついているお客様がいまいた。滑っていて、ふと止まった時、この北アルプスが目に入ってくるのです。

そして、今日は場内に流れているBGMもゆったりした曲で、ナイスな選曲！

友達同士で滑るのも良いけど、景色を見ながら1人、ゆったり滑るのも良い！

無我夢中で滑っているお客様も、一人で滑っているお客様も、昨日今日はこの景色に大満足したことでしょう。

I saw a skier standing on Route 1 to enjoy the view of northern alps.  The music played in Hakuba 47 today was relaxing.  It's nice to ski with friends, but it's also nice to ski alone and enjoy the view quietly.  Everyone must have enjoyed the great view while skiing yesterday and today. 

まだオープン前のパーク。圧雪車の跡とディガー数人の滑った後のみで、きれいなキッカーが並んでいます。雪が多かったこのシーズン…？今となっては雪が多かったのか、雪が消えるのが早かったのか、よくわかりません。

でも、よそのスキー場はもうすっかり雪がないところがいっぱいで、パークが存在するスキー場も数えるほどとなってしまいました。にも関わらず、これだけのアイテムを未だに残してくれているディガー達に感謝です。

Kickers were neatly groomed early morning before business hours.  I wonder if we had lots of snow or the snow melted quickly this season, but one thing is for sure, while many ski resorts are closing their snow parks, ours is still open.  We are really grateful to the staff for maintaining many items.  This is a cool photo of the skier flying in the blue sky.  

 

実は白馬の山桜はこれからなんです。

今年はちょうどゴールデンウィークと重なるでしょうか？

「白馬　桜」って検索するといろんな桜が出てきますが、白馬の桜に必ずついてくるもの。それは残雪なんです。

桜がメインの写真なのか残雪がメインなのかわからないほど、多くの桜の写真に残雪が。

残雪と晴天。

それだけでも綺麗なのに、ここに桜のピンクが入ると、すごいことになりますね。

あー次回は、白馬の残雪と桜の写真を載せましょう！

Cherry blossoms in Hakuba will bloom soon, probably around Golden Week.  If you google "Hakuba cherry blossom,"  you will find many different images of cherry blossoms on the Internet.  The one thing they all have in common is lingering snow.  The while lingering snow and the blue sky will do, and you'll see a perfect scenery when pink cherry blossoms are added.  We should post some photos of the lingering snow and cherry blossoms of Hakuba next time.
