午後から荒れ模様

今日は午後から、天候が悪化するとの予報。

またまた大雪になるとかで、早めにゲレンデに出てみました。

お昼前、風は少しあるものの、まだまだ穏やかなゲレンデ。

ハーフパイプはまだ未整備ですが、地形をお楽しみ頂いております。

インストラクターと共にキッズ達も恐る恐るハーフパイプの中を覗き込みます。

いざ勇気を振り絞ってパイプの中へ。

上手に滑って行きました。

楽しかったかな？それともちょっぴり怖かったかな？

I headed to the slopes early this morning since I'd heard the weather would get worsen in the afternoon.

Just before noon, the wind was still blowing a bit, but the slopes were calm.

The half-pipe is not ready yet, but our guests were enjoying the terrain.

I saw some instructors and kids fearfully looking into the half-pipe.

The kids gathered all their courage to go into the pipe.  Well done!!

I wonder if they were excited or scared?

寒い土地ならではの、制作物。

ちょこっとした遊び心は忘れません。

ゲレンデ内どこかにこんな冬の贈り物。見つけてみてくださいね。

I found a little art object near Line-A chairlift station.

The object was naturally made in the cold climate.

We never lose our playful mind.

Somewhere on the slopes, you will find one of these winter gifts!  Look for it!

やっぱり予報通り、午後からは大荒れのお天気になってしまいました。

雪煙舞い上がり視界は真っ白に。

あまりの風の強さでリフトが運転見合わせとなりました。

雪は良く締まっていて、気持ちよ～～く滑ることができたのですが、なんとも残念な一日となってしまいました。

明日は風が吹きませんように。

穏やかな一日になりますように。

As reported, it got stormy in the afternoon.

Visibility was low because of powdery snow blowing up.  The wind was so strong that the lifts had to be suspended.  We could ski/snowboard comfortably, though.

I hope that it will not be so windy tomorrow.  Hope it will be a peaceful day!
