So, what sights will I see today? I took a gondola ride to see the slopes. There he/she is! It was Kamoshika (Japanese serow). He/she was munching away on the descending course, which has been closed since the snow had melted. I wondered if he/she would still be there on the way back.

What about 47PARKS you can see from Gondolas? There they are! There were many skiers and snowboarders being in a line for kickers. There was still enough snow as well!
こちらもまだまだ雪のあるRoute 3。「いた！」コブだらけのRoute 3には、普段以上にお客様の姿がありました。
Route 3 also has lots of snow. There they are! There were more skiers on Route 3 than usual.
もうすぐ終わる冬のHakuba47 Winter Sports Parkと準備中の夏のMountain Sports Park (47Alpine Adventure)の両方が見えるゴンドラ山頂駅。「いた！」ひとけの少ないルートにたった一人優雅に滑るお客様が。周りの景色を見渡しながら、気持ちよさそうに滑っていました。
Here at the gondola summit station, you can see both Hakuba47 Winter Sports Park that is closing its winter operation in about a week and Mountain Sports Park opening in the summer. There he is! There was only one skier who seemed to enjoy skiing and looking at the view.
「いた！」「いた！」帰りも同じ場所にカモシカが。カモシカって穏やかです。10～15分くらい見つめ合ってしまいましたが、逃げることも、攻撃してくることも、視線をそらすこともなく、言葉が通じないのにじっくり会話してくれた感じでした。明日、明後日、明々後日…毎日、47でどんな光景が待っているか楽しみですね。
There he/she is!! The Kamoshika was still there, at the same spot, on the way I came back. Kamoshika is really calm. We stared at each other for about 10-15 minutes, but he/she didn't run away, attack, or avert his/her gaze, and I felt like he/she was taking his/her time to have a conversation with me even though we didn't speak the same language. Tomorrow, the day after, and the following day... It's exciting what sights you will see at 47 every day, isn't it?
